Hey Playmaker, you weren't around when I said it but one sentence is not a recap. This:

da5playmaker wrote:Michigan behind the run game of Vince Smith & Austin White pull out a 17-14 W over Texas A&M.

ain't gonna work. It ain't gotta be elaborate or nothing, but it gotta be more than this. You can throw in some game stats or something to take some more space or whatever if you need to. It just has to be a lil more than this. That's all. Congrats on the win. Smile

Georgia plays awful and escapes Clemson with a 21-18 victory. Georgia jumped out to a 21-0 lead but then fell apart as Clemson came storming back. The defense was great, holding Clemson to 147 yards, 6 completions and 0-12 on third downs, but it was the offense that simply fell apart. After rolling early, Aaron Murray was awful throwing 4 interceptions. Ken Malcome, filling in for the injured Washaun Ealey, struggled picking up only 2.6 yards per carry, and the receivers dropped 7 passes. "we need to be better" is all Joker said to the press afterwords.

    Auburn Sneaks Past TCU
When TCU's at home and they wanna comeback......watch out!!!!!

Auburn went to Fort Worth,TX after blowing out Rutgers 41-0 in hopes of doing the same to TCU. Auburn won, but they did anything but blow them out.

The game started with Auburn stopping TCU for a 3 and out on their first possession. Auburn then came back with a drive on their own and got a TD from a 7 yd pass from Clint Mosely to Emory Blake.

TCU came right back with a 57 yds run from Ed Wesley to tie the game up at 7-7. Once Auburn got the ball back, they drove down the field again but this time Auburn fumbled on the 25 yd line and TCU's DJ Yendrey returned it 75 yds for the TD. To give TCU a 14-7 lead at the end of the first.

After that score TCU's defense begin to step up and held Auburn to 2 FG's in the 2nd qtr. and with no long runs or fumble returns, TCU's offense went scoreless in the 2nd. TCU held a 14-13 lead going in to the half.

Auburn got the ball to start the 2nd half but Mosely threw an int on their first possession. To be honest, the int wasn't exactly Mosely's fault. Their was definitely defensive holding or pass interference on that play but it wasn't called. Auburn's D held TCU and then got back to scoring, with a 75 yd pass from Mosely to Reed and a 42yd fg from Sheldon Osborn. That 42 yd fg was a career long for Osborn. Auburn's D held TCU scoreless for yet another qtr and going into the 4th, the score was 23-14.

The 4th qtr started like the 2nd and 3rd qtrs with Auburn stopping TCU and driving down the field to score to take a 30-14 lead. At this point, it looked like Auburn would indeed have the blowout they were looking for. However, someone from TCU's training staff must have gave the Auburn players some stupid juice because they seemed to have lost their minds after that score. TCU's next possession resulted in a 31 yd TD pass. Play after play during TCU's hurry up offense RB's and Wr's broke tackles from DL's and LB's to get first downs and Auburn's defensive players seemed to have gotten a step slower at this point because no one could cover anybody anymore. After the TD, the score was 30-20 because of a failed 2 pt conversion. At this point, coach splff3000 said he knew he was about to see some bullshit.

A few plays later he wasn't disappointed. As Auburn was running out the clock and in position to get more points, Auburn fumbled again. This time on TCU's 15 yd line. TCU got the ball on it's own 15 and to coach splff's surprise they ran the ball for a 5 yd gain. They ran hurry up and on 2nd down had an incomplete pass. On 3rd down they had an 80 yd TD pass and coach splff3000 couldn't understand how it happened. Coach splff3000 was irate when he looked at the replay of the TD pass and saw his CB just stand their and allow the WR to go passed him by 5yds before he came out of his back pedal to defend. That's how the WR had got so open. TCU missed the extra point to bring the score to 30-26.

On Auburn's next possession, as expected from Coach splff3000, nothing worked and Auburn had a quick 3 and out. TCU then began to go on a mad hurry up offense that Auburn couldn't seem to stop. TCU moved past midfield then had a 33 yd WR screen pass where TCU's WR broke 3 tackles, one from Auburn's top DT, one from Auburn's MLB, and one from Auburn's #1 CB. Luckily Auburn's FS tackled the WR at the 8 yd line. Coach splff3000 said he was steaming after that play.

So now it was 1st and goal on the 8 yd line with about 30 secs left in the game. With the short field it was easier to stop TCU's passing attack and Auburn got 4 stops to win the game.

Auburn coach splff3000 said that if Dyer wouldn't have got hurt in the 1st qtr they would have been able to control the clock more. From Dyer's first qtr stats that may have been true. Dyer had 3 rushes for 37yds before he got knocked out the game.

Auburn his home for the first time this year next week as they welcome a feisty Nevada team to Jordan Hare. Hopefully, Auburn can have a game more like the Rutgers game and less like the TCU game next week.

    Nebraska escapes bye
With all the teams struggling this week in college football, perhaps the most surprising was the Cornhuskers rally to beat the bye.
Nebraska fans were in utter shock when they realized that they might fall to the mighty byes, but coach Legend refused to let that happen.
"I guess we were just worn out from that long one week stretch of football and the bye just kinda snuck up on us," Legend said. "I can tell you this, we won't ever underestimate the bye again. That was one pesky bye."
With the escape, the Cornhuskers live to play again in week three, well rested of course after the LONG first two weeks of the college football season.
"I tell you, I'm so glad that we took on bye while we could, because our guys were fatigued after scoring 90 points on Central Michigan in week one," Legend said. "Maybe now we won't be so exhausted when we travel up to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan next week."

Lol, it might have helped if you would have given them a break. You had to be running hurry up the whole time or something. Having over 160 plays in the game is insane. You know they have a thing called chew clock for a reason. You're gonna get some of your players hurt doing that.

Plus, I saw that you restarted, I think CMU beat you and you couldn't handle it so you restarted. Razz Either that or Martinez got injured out for the season lol.

Yeah, they beat me the first time and I outscored them 90-32 the second time. Nah, nothing happened, it just glitched on me the first time.
I don't know how I beat them so bad either. Everything I ran just went for 30+ yards it seemed. I sat everyone down and played second string the second half and just kept on doing it. It was really kinda sad.

CT and blaze play each other, and I think they will play tonight as blaze was saying he wants to get through week 3 by tomorrow night, and after them its just clark and ho left. So hopefully we can advance both workers and rivals tonight.

WTF? You're almost done then a few minutes later the power goes out when you're in the first? Hmm, I think somebody was about to lose and decided to restart the game. No

haha well, you may think that. Joker was poking fun as well. I was only in the first on my first drive of the game. Think what you want, but I know what happened. I said I am almost done just to try and get ho to play his game. Obviously it didn't work
