Re: Workers 2011 Discussion Thread
Georgia handles Vanderbilt easily with a 45-10 victory. The Bulldogs lead 42-0 at halftime and pulled their offensive starters in the second half to avoid injury which has plagued other teams this year. Aaron Murray was 16-19 for 255 yards and 2 scores, his favourite target being of course AJ Green, who caught 12 passes for 183 yards and both touchdowns. Washaun Ealey added 108 yards and 2 scores on the ground while backup QB Logan Gray took an option play in for a touchdown at the goalline. Akeem Dent was everywhere again, recording 8 tackles and 2 sacks, forcing a fumble. Justin Houston recovered a fumbled and recorded an interception.

for the record... you used run commit last time too , but it just wasn't the most egregious offense at the time.

Home Cooking!!
Auburn takes care of Arkansas at home, 38-14.
Auburn limped into today's game with only 1 RB active on the roster. They also had their backup QB starting. They came into today's game, just as Arkansas did, in much need of a win. Both teams had 2 losses and a 3rd loss for either of these teams would be disasterous.
Arkansas started the game with a 74 yd TD pass from stud QB Ryan Mallet to Jarius Wright in what look like busted coverage against a 5 WR set. After that play, Auburn's D tightened up and didn't allow any other points. Arkansas only other TD came on a 101 yd kickoff return from Dennis Johnson.
Auburn's offense wasn't much better at first. They struggled to move the ball in the first quarter. It wasn't until late in the 2nd qtr that they figured out a scheme that would work. They decided to attack whichever player clark was using by making him cover the RB. That led to an explosion of scores by the offense. That's also why the RB Dyer had 4 TD receptions in the game. He also had a rushing TD as well. You can see it in the vid. Even though, the defense used run commit, Dyer still got into the endzone.
Dyer was player of the game with gaudy numbers for this one. He had 8 catches for 106 yds and 4 TD's and 135 yds rushing with 1 TD. He scored all of Auburn's TD's today. Their wasn't really much else to note about the offense besides Dyer's performance.
After that first long TD, the Auburn defense stiffened up, holding Arkansas to 199 yds total. That's after giving up a 74 yd TD pass. They also forced 3 TO's by intercepting Mallet 3 times.
Auburn now get's ready to welcome the Tigers of LSU to Jordan Hare stadium next week.

I don't know why you still get mad when you lose to me. You should be used to it by now. lol j/k You got me in Rivals, but then again you have a superhuman terminator team over there lol.
Yeah, the game was good until you started controlling Williams exclusively. Once I knew where you would be, I just started calling plays to make you cover the RB. Sometimes you did, sometimes you didn't. That's the only way I could win this game lol. When my QB threw that first pick, I was like fuck!!!! Here we go again. Luckily, my D was good, other than that long bomb you got which was a result of the stupid cpu.
You came out in 5 WR and I came out in nickle to double the WR. but the nickle back lined up on the side with just 2 WR instead of the side with 3 WR, so that meant the LB from the far side had to cover the inside slot WR which made no sense what so ever. I didn't have time to switch, so your guy got wide open. If the nickle back had covered the slot guy on the 3 WR side, then the LB closest to the inside slot WR would have been covering him and the far side lB would have been covering the far side slot WR. Your WR might have beat my LB, but he wouldn't have been as wide open and he most likely wouldn't have scored either.
There aint nothing I can say about that kick return. It was jsut good. I stayed back as a safety and everything and your guys still found me and blocked me out of the play. Oh well, we'll see what happens next year when we play. No run commit next time MFer. In fact, I don't even know why you used it. Other than 1 or 2 times, I got big gains when you did it. Some of my biggest runs came when you did run commit lol. Anyway, cut that shit out. If you would have did it and caused a fumble or something and came back and won, I would've been extremely pissed. EXTREMELY!!!! It's all good though. Peace.

WTF? You lose to my "sorry" ass too. lol I don't recall you ever beating me. In fact, the only people in this OD that I don't/didn't beat on a consistent basis is Joker, Jusblaze, and Urban(I only played him once and he won...barely lol). Those other 2 we've gone back and forth with wins and losses. I haven't played Breon, gameface, or jhawk. Everybody else, I've beaten consistently, including you lol. So, I have no idea what you're talking about. lol
I played both of yall and I'd say yall are about even, skill wise. Both of yall success depends highly on the team you have and the team your opponent has. Still both of yall can win if you catch your opponent slipping. Yeah, I'd say yall are even. Why don't yall schedule a home and home to find out for sure?

Re: Workers 2011 Discussion Thread
Madison, WI -- The #3 Wisconsin Badgers laid the wood on #1 Ohio St. in a Big Ten conference clash that had National Championship and Heisman implications. The Badgers used an old school game plan to control the clock and wear down the vaunted Ohio St. defense.
John Clay led the way for Wisconsin totalling 215 yards and 3 TDs on 30 carries. Montee Ball added 130 yards on 14 carries and returned a kick 98 yards to the house. When the dust settled the Badgers rushed for 381 yards on 63 carries, allowing them to dominate T.O.P to the tune of 22:56 - 9:04.
Backup QB Curt Phillips got the start and was a perfect 7-7 passing amassing 155 yards and a TD. Phillips also added 48 yards and a TD on the ground and picked up several crucial first downs throughout the game. Phillips finished the game with a passer rating of 333.1.
"Offensively, you had to like what you saw out there today" coach STR said. "Nobody thought we could come out here and seperate ourselves from a team like Ohio St., but that was just sheer will on our guys part. Nothing really complicated about the gameplan. No tricks or gadgets. Hell we coulda told 'em what play we were running. We were just exploding off the ball today, and what those kids accomplished was pretty special."
While the Ohio St. running attack also did it's fare share of damage, QB Terrelle Pryor was harassed throught the conteset and finished 7-18 for 125 yards 0 TDs, 2 picks and a passer rating of 75.0. Pryor was intercepted by star LB Culmer St. Jean on the Buckeye's first possesion. St. Jean took that pick to the house to stake the Badgers to an early lead that they would never relinquish.
"We're gonna enjoy this for an hour or two, then we're gonna get to work trying to figure out how to beat a very talented Iowa team" said coach STR. Next week the Badgers travel to Kinnick Stadium in what promises to be a matchup of the top two teams in the country.

WTF? We played 2 or 3 times and I won every one. If I have to, I'll dig back through the thread just to prove it to you. It's right there. The 4th and 1 that you're talking about happened in our first meeting. The other games weren't that close lol. By the way, what the fuck is the M I A O? lol

Re: Workers 2011 Discussion Thread
Hey guys, are the new settings any better? I don't know how they are yet because I haven't played the cpu.
Also, if jhawk gets back before late, I'll advance before going to bed tonight. If not, I'll do it in the morning when I get up. That's if he plays his game when he gets home.
Also, I'd like honest opinions on the way the site is looking. I'm not done yet, but I'd like to know what you guys think so far. I know urbs and stoptherun like it and I know getonmylevel doesn't. Just let me know so I can see whether I wanna continue in this direction or try something different.

Read the thread man.(Sound familiar lol) Since we're halfway through the season I raised user pass block from 5 to 10 and raised user rush defense from 25 to 30. Both of those needed tweaking badly.
