Class of 2020 Recruiting Empty Recruit Profile: Blake Palmer

Post by Guest Tue Apr 05, 2011 6:49 pm

    WR (#1) *****
    6'4 178 lbs Chamblee, GA
    Blake Palmer
    Tendency: Balanced
    Top 3: OU, Texas, Bama
This season looks to another explosive one and so is the #1 recruit in the nation. Blake Palmer is going to make some lucky coach happy with his pure athletic ability alone. He has a good 6'4 frame and has elite speed so he is going to give slower DB's alot of trouble. Palmer has some ups and has decent hands, so he might catch everything thrown his way but he is going to get alot of catches. He is what you call a dual threat WR because he not only can abuse you on jump balls but he also will burn you in the open field. He annouced earlier this week he has no interest in his home state Bulldogs but has a few schools that strikes his interest including: OU, Texas, Florida, USC, Notre Dame, Florida State, Penn State, and Miami. When asked about not being on Palmer's list coach yung replied saying, "there are no hard feelings, the kid wants to go to another school. I wish him the best of luck and hope he has a great career." But even with coach yung optimistic approach you know that he got to be worried about not being able to pull in top players from Georgia. But stay tuned because this race for Palmer could get nasty.

Man my recruiting class this year is gonna be seriously fucked. I have a lot of guys on my board that I wouldn't normally go after because they are at a position of need. I highly doubt I finish in the top 5 like I have the last few years. Not only is my board fucked, but my sched is fucked too. It definitely is not conducive to recruiting lol. By the time I can have a decent visit, most of the guys on my board will prolly be gone.

Class of 2020 Recruiting Empty Recruit Profile: Ryan Broussard

Post by Guest Thu Apr 07, 2011 11:51 pm

    HB (#1)
    6'1 215 lbs Downey, CA
    Ryan Broussard
    Tendency: Speed
    Top 3: ND, USC, UF
Its one thing you can't coach and thats speed and pure athleticism. Ryan Broussard, a two sport track star, is one of those guys where you blink and he is gone. He comes from California which is know for fast backs and wideouts, so he fits the bill. Ryan can get to top speed fairly fast and can stop and go with ease. What him scary is that he is 215 lbs already and could put on some more bulk. A big guy with top end speed is something you dont want to see, unless he is on your team of course. But ryan will have to grow some before he can become a dominate force but with his raw ability thats not a far reach. He has intrest in alot of schools but it seem to be a clear cut battle between ND and USC who both have offered him. Stay tuned for more updates .

Post by Guest Tue Apr 12, 2011 6:55 pm

Notre Dame adds the top HB in the nation. Ryan Broussard, the fastest back in this class commits to Notre Dame. He is needed with All-American leaving after the season, Ryan should get instant playtime and will be dangerous in coach hawk's system. ND also nabs a speedy and hard hitting safety in Devin Clarke. He joins a talented DB squad but he might get moved around depending on the team needs. ND is hot this year in recruiting look for them to pull more big guys

No doubt..I wouldn't mind catching u at the end of this season if at all possible to split the tiebreaker. I got man handled in this year's meeting and that just doesn't sit well with me.

Class of 2020 Recruiting Empty Week 8 Recruiting News (UGA)

Post by Guest Sun Apr 17, 2011 12:39 am

Georgia has landed 2 recruits so far but with the Bulldogs slipping on many targets recruiting boards they have to make the most out of the recruits they do get. Today we will break down the 2 they have so far.

    Brandon Smith (DT) ****
    6'4 269 lbs Doraville, GA
    Tendency: Balanced

Georgia lands a solid DT in Brandon Smith, he is the first recruit UGA has landed this season. Georgia's defensive line has been getting killed this season and coach yung is hoping that Brandon can get on the field and make a impact soon. Brandon is a balanced DT who can rush the passer and stop the run. He is going to have to work really hard to get be a starter because he is very raw and needs training. He has decent burst off the ball and has decent strength. He tends to get stuck against better lineman and needs to learn some technique or he will get lay out alot. But coach will try to see if he can get some good play out of him.

    Willie Richardson (CB) ***
    5'11 177lbs Plantation, FL
    Tendency: Hard Hitter
Georgia adds some more youth and depth to their CB postion by adding CB Willie Richardson. He not that fast and needs hit the training room because he wont be able to defend laterally versus better WR's. He tends to sell out on tackles trying to lay the big hit so he misses too many tackles. Coach yung will be working alot with Willie to work on that. He lacks the ablity to read and react and his lack of accelaration makes him a liability when left alone on a receiver. But he does have good man and zone defense so maybe there is hope for him. Willie is going to have to work really hard to get some play time but he most likely will get RS and sit behind a more experianced CB and learn from him.

Class of 2020 Recruiting Empty Recruit Profile: Kevin Miller (OU)

Post by Guest Sun Apr 17, 2011 1:05 am

    Kevin Miller (RB) *****
    5'10 209lbs Ishpeming, MI
    Tendency: Power
    Committed to: OU

OU lands the most physical RB in this class in Kevin Miller. Miller is a straight up beast and runs over anybody in his path. He has good enough speed to be effective on any down and can break a few long runs if he gets a lane. He runs behind his pads and has a thick body so he might be hard to bring down. He is a very patient runner who attacks the hole hard when it opens up and knows how to finish on runs. He is pretty shifty for a big guy also, and when he lays a stiff arm is like being jabbed by Mike Tyson. He is a tough guy to, he once got his helmet knocked off in a game but kept his balance and ran a lineman over for a TD. OU will have a beast in the back field once this kid learns the offense and gets some experience.

Class of 2020 Recruiting Empty Recruit Profile: Corey Robinson (UF)

Post by Guest Sun Apr 17, 2011 1:36 pm

    Corey Robinson (WR) *****
    6'2 180lbs
    Henderson, TX
    Tendency: Possession
    Committed to: UF

Florida adds some youth to their WR position with the addition of Corey Robinson. He can be a go to guy on 3rd down with his relliable hands. He aint the fastest guy on the field but he makes up for it will his ability to make big catches. Robinson can get up on this 50/50 balls and gets to his top speed fairly fast. But he does lack lateral agility and needs to work on his route running. There is alot of room to improve but with his catching skill there shouldn't be that many problems with him getting some early play time. One thing to pay attention to is how well he take a pounding because he not that big and might need to add some muscle on his frame. Coach urb recuits great guys and Corey should end up one of this guys that will make a big impact on his offense
