You really can't base your opinion off of one game but whatever...splff3000 wrote:Yeah maybe put cpu pass coverage to 45. It was quite easy getting those completions.

Yeah, you're right but time was of the essence. I didn't have time to get a good sample.

Re: Rivals sliders
I gotcha on that but that set, supposedly, has been crafted by someone who tested it extensively and then used by multiple ODs who seemed pleased with it. I'm just thinking it would've been better to roll with what they had and then after we've had a few games to adjust and test out, getting a larger sample size, then we could've adjusted as needed.splff3000 wrote:jhawk886 wrote:

Re: Rivals sliders
Well hell, it's not like that was the only one changed. Urbs said he didn't wanna change user tackling and he didn't play ANY games with them. Seeing their defenders just stand there when in zone sometimes ala last year told me that there was a problem with the pass coverage.
Anyway, Jared, user 50 tackle with 60 cpu rba is feeling pretty good.

Re: Rivals sliders
Beat Indiana 45-20
Total offense:
PSU 475 - IU 337
Turnovers - 1 - 1
Sacked - 2 - 0 (surprised by this, he shook me a couple times when I had him sacked so pressure was there)
The only eye popping stat was Green had like 230 yards on 15 carries, he popped two big gainers. Beachum, the backup, at 40 yards on 10 carries.
McGloin was 11-21-170-1D-1int
IU WB was 20-32-260-3-1
their run game was held to like 50 yards on 20 carries.
The entire fourth qtr I had chew clock on just trying to end the game.
Personally, I think USER run block could come down a notch but I am willing to give it a couple more weeks before actually changing anything else...
WIth 8min QTrs its hard not to rack up a bunch of rushing yards currently

Yeah, that's happened to me once or twice. I'm sure it's a glitch lol. The only other thing that would explain it would be some kind of supernatural phenomenon. lol

Re: Rivals sliders
Ok my game vs Clemson was pretty good it seemed tough but insane. They was able to run on me at first but once i got deep into the game i slowed that down. There was alot of penalties on big plays but thats real football so i like it. Overall i like the sliders they felt good but not over bearing
Stats:
Harris 14-23 202 yards 3 TD's 1 int(forced a pass that i shouldnt have threw)
Miller 20 attempts 76 yards 3.8 ypc (i was tough running the ball but i like fighting for yards on the ground)
Benjamin 4 catches 85 yards 1 TD
Boyd 14-25 195 yards 2 ints(one he tried to throw off balance and the other i picked it off on a deep pass)
Ellington 15 attempts 50 yards 3.3 ypc
Final Verdict i like the sliders i think we should keep them for atleast 4 more weeks as is

Re: Rivals sliders
The CPU made that catch for you?
Nice lookin play, nice throw with the rush in your face
So you gonna vote to bring these sliders into workers?

Re: Rivals sliders
So I am moving this talk over here so nobody gets mad about it bein in the discussion thread
Moving forward for this slider set I would suggest a one notch boost to the FG sliders (power and acc) and a one notch decrease to hum tacklin
splff3000 wrote:Jaredlib wrote:i know some of the missed field goals you guys saw today were most likely the heisman 60yard attempt bullshitters, but did anyone see the cpu miss one from close range?
Jared, I saw it happen a few times in a few playnow games against the cpu after I made the adjustment. I definitely think we need to tweak cpu kick acc a lil. I don't think tweaking hum tackling to 45 is a bad idea either. In fact, it puts it in line with what I saw yesterday. A 10pt difference between user tackle and cpu rba is not enough, but 20 is too much. I'm guessing 15 is prolly the sweet spot. Anyway, that's it for the slider talk.

Re: Rivals sliders
So in workers we have the rivals sliders except with HUM tackling at 45 and a one notch boost to both sides FG sliders.
holy shit i am in the middle of the best game I have played so far in this game.
I am playing Oklahoma State, a B- team (me) vs an A- team
At halftime I was down 24-7, start of the 4th I am down 24-21 and am kicking off to OSU.
Tackling at 45 feels great, every stop on defense has been a struggle, just like it should be with a D that is a full letter grade lower than the other teams O.
The OSU kicker, who I think is pretty highly rated, clanged a 56 yarder off the crossbar and nailed a gimme FG.
Hope I win this motherfucker!
