Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
I'm definitely going to make adjustments to the sliders during the post season. I don't want to start tinkering with things this late in the game and screw anything up.

Well, Jhawk, you might have just lucked up. Beau Sweeney is out for 4 weeks so I'll have my backup QB in when we play. That might drastically change the way I play. Lucky for me, I have a game before ours so I can really see what he can do.

Damn, what is up with people losing their QB's before user games. If Luck gets hurt playing this piss poor Notre Dame team next week and he's out for our game I'm gonna be seriously pissed.splff3000 wrote:Well, Jhawk, you might have just lucked up. Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
I just tried to get my game in, but I'm having some weird issues. I have a connection, can connect to the EA servers, etc. My wireless is working fine on my laptop, but I can't download the file to play my game.
I reset my router and modem and tried again. My laptop wireless connection says my signal is excellent. I went into my network configuration on my PS3 and tested my connection. Everything seems to be fine until it tests the download and upload connectivity. Both of those fail. So, I'm not sure what the issue is.
I have the option of going wired, but I'd need to move my PS3 and TV upstairs to do it. I only have one TV while my stuff is in route from CA. I had to buy a TV and router to get up and running in the new house...packed the other stuff. Maybe the new router is causing me issues.
The other issue is I have meetings and an event in NYC tomorrow and won't be able to get it in before. So, its going to be Sat until I can work on this again. I'll try and play early tomorrow morning as is, but I don't have time to move a bunch of stuff around.
Sorry for the novel...just wanted to get some sympathy re the delay and see if anyone has experienced this and might have any suggestions.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Oklahoma handles Texas Tech easily to end their regular season, but the victory comes with great loss. first, the game. Sooners win 55-7 and put up 310 rushing yards. Oklahoma also goes 7-7 in the red zone while holding Tech to only 212 total yards and a 1-9 third down conversion rate. Jermie Calhoun picked up 110 yards and 4 touchdowns in 1 half of work. Both he and Brennan Clay left in the first half with injuries and did not return.
Afterward, it was announced that Calhoun broke his ribs and will miss 7 weeks, while Clay broke his collarbone and will also miss 7 weeks. This is a massive loss for the Sooners as both tailbacks helped Oklahoma put up the best rushing attack in the NCAA. Calhoun had gained 1594 yards and 21 touchdowns while Clay had tallied up 1225 yards and 19 touchdowns. "It's obviously a huge loss," Joker said. "To lose 1 is bad enough but both? It's tough. However, we have confidence that our passing game (Jones, Miller and Broyles) can pick it up while Roy (Finch) steps in and fills their running back position. The freshman Finch had 15 carries for 163 yards and scored a touchdown in the second half.
Oklahoma will have 3 bye weeks before their Big 12 Championship game which they will have to play without Calhoun and Clay. Hopefully both are able to return for the Bowl Game.

Please find a way to get this in early if possible. Tomorrow is going to be three days since the advance, and waiting until Saturday on one person will suck.....and I'm on a bye....again.

I just tried again this morning and it said that I can't connect to the EA Servers...which is a new one. I'll continue to try until I take off this afternoon. Otherwise, just SIM it. I'm playing a 5-5 South Florida at home...I'll take my chances w/ that one. I'll ping you before I take off to let you know.

I had this problem before... It should be solved by turning the firewall on your router off... But just doing that never works for me. There are certain ports you have to open on your router. I'm at work so I don't know the setup right off hand but I can get em too you when I get home
