Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
It has been fairly quiet on the boards lately guys. What's up? Maybe start a topic so we can discuss it? I mean it seem pretty boring. I'll throw a topic out there, uh, how about, why I am so amazing at this game? Or why no user stands a chance against me? Or why I will be a major team for the next 4-5 years? Or in general, how am I so cool? You guys pick what topic, I can give you some excellence feedback on all of them, cause I mean, they're all true

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
I don't know why it's been so quiet lately. The games have been moving along at a nice pace. Maybe it's just that we've all been playing cpu teams for the last few weeks and there haven't been too many big games to look forward to. It'll pick up when Florida gets ready for some revenge against the Crimson Tide.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Someone said something about passing after the new patch....wow, that was the worst game I've ever had passing the ball. Brantley was 12-of-34 with two touchdowns and seven interceptions. That's right, seven. Four in the first quarter alone. I have to say that about five of them were miraculous plays. The other two, they were bad passes. It's a good thing that I can run the ball, because that was piss poor.

I had a few off passes, but nothing that I can't handle. I think I was getting pressured on most of those anyway.

Yeah, when I see score like 91-0 it makes me hope that your best player gets hurt. Then, I think, oh shit, he's Bama. He'd just have a 98 ranked right below him.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Week 14 is going to be fucking intense. I don't know how many of you have been looking ahead, but I've kinda been eying it all season. It's kinda the Rivals equivelant to what's going to take place this weekend. There are major title implications at stake.
Here's a breakdown of what's coming up:
Stanford vs. Cal
Everyone knows what coach Splff is able to do as witnessed by a SEC Championship appearance at Auburn last season before jumping ship to play in the Pac 10. His arrival was so feared that the 2010 National Champion Oregon Ducks had their head coach resign early in the season.
In steps jhawk to Stanford and the Cardinal arrive on the scene with a 10-0 record and an outside shot at playing for the national title. With a win, it could bolster their chances.
Miami at West Virginia
After a drinking escapade early in the season, the Miami Hurricanes sit with one loss at 9-1, but Coach Eli Hicks always has the storm brewing.
The ninth-ranked Hurricanes will travel to play the fifth-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers, who came out of nowhere this season to the tune of a 9-0 record. The winer has an outside shot at the national title, the loser is done.
Texas at Ohio State
After being shutout of the national championship game by a WAC team in season one, Ohio State got a shot at the champion Oregon Ducks, and beat the coach so bad he was sent into early retirement.
Due to the pregnancy of his wife, Texas lost a coach but in come the Assailant to guide the Longhorns. After early season losses, the Lonhorns have bounced back to a 7-2 record. A win could give Texas a shot at a BCS bowl, while a loss by the Buckeyes would ruin any chances of playing for a title.
Florida vs. Florida State
Florida and Oklahoma are the top-ranked one-loss teams waiting for others to mess up. The Gators could help their chances by beating Florida State and top-ranked Alabama in the SEC Championship game. With only a one-point loss on their resume to the top-ranked Crimson Tide, the Gators feel their still in the race.
Florida State has been much improved in year to under coach ho, but the Seminoles lost quarterback E.J. Manuel for four weeks heading into the game. Can the Noles overcome a key injury to end the Gators hopes of a national title?
I don't know about you guys, but that's going to be a very interesting week. Ohio State still has a game left with Michigan as well in the Big House. It could be an interesting closing stretch in Rivals. What does everyone think is going to happen?

Jesus...who knew a 3 point win would be that impressive to the recruits? I was battling some top programs for those kids too...even though most are only 3*s. Needed it big time...thought I wasn't even going to be able to fill out a class there for a few weeks.
My prediction for the end of the year is...
- Cal beats Stanford
- Texas beats OSU
- WVU beats Miami
- Florida beats Bama in the SEC title game
- Florida vs WVU national championship...toss up in that one

Btw...sounds like the new patch screwed some of the old sliders up...at least in regards to passing. Are we looking for adjustments at all to even things back out?
