I just read on OS that EA is coming out with 3 new franchises and one is a football game. So what else is there to make? NFL Street?

I guess photobucket done permanently fucked up our banner. I guess this is as good a time as ever to get started on some new shit for the site for 12. Seeing as we'll hopefully incorporate more than just NCAA OD's I'll try to do some kind of universal sports thing.

Speaking of something other than OD's, how's you guys franchise going in the Show? I was thinking of making a MLB section with the Show so that you guy's franchise will work like the OD section instead of just having a one thread devoted to the franchise mode.

Penn State wins at home against rival Ohio State (my dads Alma Mater) 31-14, in a game that Coach Lib could only describe as "weird."

For some reason when I play Rauloe I struggle. I don't know if he does somerthing on defense that nobody else does or what but my pretty quick WRs could not seperate, his defenders were locking us down all day. Any pass attempted that wasn't to the flats or 5 yards down the middle was tightly contested or almost picked off. I seriously was afraid to throw the ball, I haven't felt like that since I played Hawk 3 seasons ago. I chalk it up to two things, his boys playing very well, and my sophomore QB who isn't the most poised young man in this league just playing scared.

We traded punts, then I got on board with a big option QB by my option QB Kerr, Rauloe answered right back taking advantage of single man converage, no safety help, by perfectly timing deep passes and user catching nice grabs. This threw me off my game as well. My usually stout pass rush was nowhere to be seen and I was sweating it. We trade scores until its 14-14, then I get the lucky break of the game, the break that usually decides these things in rivalry games, when his RB on third and 1 takes a toss, gets hit by my corner behind the line, and fumbles it, scooped and scored on by my safety. That made it 21-14 coming out of half-time, I got the ball and scored on quick 2 minute drive to make it 28-14. That was the score for most of the remainder of the game. Rauloe mounted drives but couldn't convert on key situations on my side of the field. His boys dropped a few passes on him as well, again, just bad luck.

I don't know how Rauloe gets beat by the CPU. He is a good player man. Rauloe, if we ever aren't in the same conference again I want you to tell me your defense man. Last year you shut me out, this year you held my passing game to shit.

With this win Penn State virtually secures at least a return trip to the Rose Bowl (Coach Lib made 3 rose bowl appearances at USC, winning two of them) and a possible BCS title game bid will most likely be on the line in week 14 when we travel to Miami.

Rauloe you played well enough to win man the CPU decided to give me this one. Straight up. You played better than me. I was real nervous and I played nervous but got lucky.

Something about this game must get the Ohio State boys fired up cuz two years in a row I saw a very good squad across from me, better than their record.
