Well, I think Kid could put up 200 on you with those sliders Razz

Damn...Urban Meyer is done. What will happen to the Gators? Maybe they'll hire the hot up-and-coming coaching prodigy Turner Gill away from the Jayhawks. Very Happy

3 games over 70 points in the same week, and all of them are against FBS comp?

    A OLB with 10 TD!?!

Have we ever heard of chew clock, or run in circles, or something?

When Jefferson seen the 125-27 scored put up by Florida he wanted to make a statement too. But Jefferson is the best player on the most dominant defense so far this season. They give up 24 points in 3 games, two were against rank team.

Im sorry, but he wouldn't have seen that score, because he would have been at the stadium getting ready for his game and not worrying about what someone else is doing.

Alright, I wasn't trying to run up the score. Like I said, it was hard not scoring. Every time I ran it up the middle, I was gone. You can look at it and see that I had my backups in. I should have posted replays of my last 5 touchdowns instead of my last one where you all could see they were identical-type plays.

Hawk, I say go ahead and make it as hard as yours if everyone is down. I didn't have any fun playing that last game and don't think I'll have much fun playing any cpu game with those sliders. You can go ahead and put them in, and post them here as well if you don't mind.

Obviously my day got a little trickier with Meyer resigning so I don't know when I'd be able to.

I did have chew clock btw, but its hard when you're breaking 50 yard run after 50 yard run.

Im just saying in general Urban, i'm not trying to single anyone out...

except when you are clearly trying to have your OLB score 10 TDs even when the game is long over.

I guess we should take it easy cause it was easy to score. Couldn't just sim it or dive after getting the first down. No, let's keeping scoring 50 yard tds. Good thinking

Hey you guys can trash talk me all you want. It's not gonna bother me, and I'm not gonna dive on a freaking video game after getting a first down. What backup would dive in real life after breaking into the open field?

The only thing at issue here is the sliders being way toooooo easy and not putting backups in. If you're scoring with your first team, that's one thing. If you've got your backups in, that's another. Now, as far as sliders. They're too easy and will change as soon as jhawk puts them in.

No, there's not. I just assumed we would all substitute them in like we did last year, but when you have a starter scoring 10 TDs, I guess that's not the case.

Either way, the new sliders will go into effect and hopefully it will help with this problem.

I'll go ahead and bring them another notch closer to mine than I was going to but I don't want to go ahead and push them all the way there yet. I think we should at least have this step up in difficulty before I plug in mine because they are significantly tougher. Next week, if everyone still wants to move up and make it even tougher, then I'll go ahead and fully implement my slider set. Even after I do that (if we do), it may need another adjustment to make it even harder, given that most of the teams in here are better than the ones in my OD.

I'll go ahead and plug in the new sliders right now.

I'm still for plugging in yours if they're significantly tougher. I think that will solve all the problems, and then if they need to be even tougher, we'll go from there.

I say find a medium first, then if it's still too easy go full out.

It won't matter to me, I've played 3 user games already this year (after tonight).

So be it. The commissioner has spoken! lol. I went ahead and plugged my complete slider set in.

WARNING: If you are not in my OD, I STRONGLY recommend you play a practice game with these sliders, otherwise you may be a little upset following your loss to the CPU.

So, im a little late on the chit chatter bout dem points.. Heres my thoughts, im with Mat Millen when it comes to points.. "Score as many as you can.. Cause the other team gets paid to stop you" We know that CPU games are a little easier than User games, so run it up if you can. If you playing me, then i dont have a problem with you putting up 50 or 60 points... If i let you do it, then have at it... But if we trynna make this OD enjoyable as possible, lets keep it within the rules know what ima saying to ya'll... But what the hell, im just a person with an alter ego named LeRoy Stokes that goes around slapping asses on the mothers and the daughters that come in the club together.....

Be aware that there will be games where you experience significantly more penalties than you are used to. This could work for or against you, but like real life, penalties are something that drive coaches crazy cuz we can't control them.

Too bad for stop that he couldn't have played USC next week. These sliders should hamper USC's blitz happy defense as user pass rush was decreased by a decent amount. Also, we shouldn't see too much more of USC's Jefferson scoring rushing touchdowns; with the amped up CPU rush defense.

All-in-all, we should have much more interesting CPU games; which you need to be wary of or you very well could lose.

Yah in my game vs Oregon this morning I had 6 holding penalties, but they had 4 to go with a false start and an offsides so it ended up being 6-6 each.

I saw that. I think the most I've had so far is 11, when there were 16 in the game. I think it was against Baylor in our first go around, and I'm getting ready to play Baylor right now, so hopefully it doesn't happen again lol. It makes you want to smash a controller, cuz they are always drive killers.

Good win BTW, you didn't blow them out like you did that first time, but you still pulled it out in the clutch. Hopefully, we see some great games against the good CPU teams in here now too.
