Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
I can't wait to see how all of these games play out. Almost everyone playing in these games is still in the title hunt. There's a possibility that the top four teams, which are all undefeated, could all still lose, so that makes it particularly interesting for all of us one-loss teams. There's also still a very good opportunity for Boise State to lose as they play an 8-3 team this week in Washington State. Even if they don't, I've noticed that I've gained on them in the BCS rankings for the last few weeks, and Joker and I have the same BCS ranking. Should all the undefeated teams falter, I could see two one-loss teams jumping Boise based on the way the rankings are playing out. Still, I'm sure everyone's hoping that Boise loses and takes that out of consideration or that at least two of the undefeated teams stay that way.

Hicks...when are you avail? I'm having connectivity issues again and need to work today. So, I'm not sure when I'll be able to get my PS3 online again, but I'd like to knock it out tonight if I can.

That late would be best for me too...as long as I can get things up and running.
And IF I can beat Hicks...a big IF...I'll of course be interested to see if I can jump Stanford, who IF they win would also have a quality win this week. We are so close in the BCS standings...like .05 difference, it will be interesting to see what happens IF we both win.
IF I lose...I couldn't care less

12-0!! Ohio State caps off a Perfect Regular Season with a 30-17 win against #8 Texas
In a game that many teams were rooting for Texas and a game that Ohio State needed to win to assure themselves a spot in the BCS title game, the Buckeyes stuck with the running game to get them there. After an interesting first quarter that featured 2 Garrett Gilbert interceptions both leaving OSU with great field position, the stout Texas defense allowed only 2 field goals. At the Half it was 16-0 and throughout the third quarter the Buckeyes fed the 2 headed monster Herron and Berry. Texas scored two late touchdowns but the damage had been done. Terrelle Pryor in his last regular season game attempted only 4 passes as Herron and Berry each carried it 24 times for a combined 249 yards. The OSU defense forced 5 picks and had 3 sacks. Now we just wait and see what happens over the remainder of this week and the Conference Championship week to see how the rankings shake out. Good luck everyone!!
gg stop!

Yeah good game Breon. U beat the shit out of us physically. Pounded it down our throats. Garret Gilbert might have played his last season for us here @ Texas. Pick on his first throw put us in disaster mode for the rest of the game. Really like what I saw in Connor Wood though- and I got some 5* recruits enrolling early so its gonna b an open competition @ QB in the spring. Oh well, time to get ready for the Holiday Bowl lol.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Jhawk, Splff, you guys going at midnight?
Hicks, Ny_Eer, still going at 9:30?
Me and Ho should be playing late tonight as well....hopefully. His girl leaves to see her brother before he goes overseas tomorrow, so they might have some 'alone time' tonight and bump uglies for a while....he shouldn't last that long either way though, so we will probably get it in.

I believe we're still on for 9:30. Hicks is at work. So, I'm not sure, but he said he'd be ready and I'm not doing anything tonight. Should be straight.

Feel free to drink as much as you want then. I can't go too late, but don't let that determine what you do. I don't like getting in the way of a good time. The latest I can start is 11pm...I need to get up early and get some stuff done.

Don't know. I haven't heard from him. I'll check back every 20 or 30 min to see if he comes up here.
Jhawk, I'd like to watch most of this late game or until it gets ugly, but if you have to go at a certain time, I'm cool with that. I'll be checking up here every 20 min so go ahead and post when you want to play.

And miss the Chiefs open the new Arrowhead with a win? I think not. We will play afterwards. As long as that's cool with you.splff3000 wrote:urbanslegend05 wrote:Jhawk, Splff, you guys going at midnight?

Cool, I was hoping you'd say that. I wanna watch the whole game myself since I have a vested interest in both teams.(I'm a Oakland Fan )

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Hicks got me. I couldn't stop the run and couldn't stop throwing INTs (5 in the first half). Got down 17 and abandoned the run. I came back to w/in 3 w/ a little more than 4 to play, and then he ran the ball into the ground and won by 3...31-28. I'll let him post a more in depth recap.
Good game Hicks.
No NC game for the Mounties this year, but unless there are some crazy transfers or defections to the NFL I get everyone worth a shit back on Offense. Its on to a BCS bowl and hopes and dreams for next year.
