Rivals 2011 Dynasty

I thought Madden 10 was pretty amazing, and NCAA 09 and 10 to me were pretty crap. It looked and played way too arcadey in my opinion. This is definitely the year that NCAA took that huge leap forward.

I know they are produced teaser trailers that are intended just to get people excited, but I still like what I see so far, a lot.

Might be a dumb question, but what is the release date for NCAA?

Rauloe what teams were you thinking of taking next year? Zehp is seriously considering TCU since they will be Big East and if he does I might go West Virginia just to play him every year. Plus

PSN Outage: Day 2

It seems the outage is driving gamers mad all over the world. There are signs of people playing the single player campaign all over the world. One guy even said he finished his in 5hrs. Gamers all over are getting snappy as well. It seems the lack of a way to throw virtual TD's and shoot virtual guns at virtual terrorist/soldiers is causing gamers to be edgy. There are reports of one gamer snapping at another over Gus Johnson. We don't know if this is entirely true but it seems possible since there are a lot of gamers on edge because of the outage. Speaking with Sony about the outage, they say we are still a full day or two from getting the PSN back. The outage is already causing madness among the community. Who knows what will happen in a full day or two.

LOL I feel like we are in a zombie movie and the world is slowly ending.

I tried that this year, remember back when some fucks in Ohio got the game early, it got posted on OS and started a shitstorm. I called every Gamestop in Southern Cali to try and find a copy, just to have it 12 hours early lol. This year I am gonna relax about that more. Unfortunately out here in San Diego you don't get those "mom and pop" stores for video games, so we don't get that early release stuff nearly as much.

I know this has been asked before, but I forget the answer. This is my first year in Rivals and I didn't join until I think season 3 or 4, so I don't know how it worked at the beginning but do we pretty much just wait for the first set of named rosters and boot up the dynasty right away?

Well im going to Order from the NCAA 12 site and get it delivered because the only place we got to get it here is Walmart and they be having shortage of stuff they ran out of PS3 and Xbox's for like 2 weeks. And im not driving a whole hour just to get 1 game(i did it to get my PS3 lol). But i am hoping that they expand the number of users in OD's to 15 and im just going to wait to see who everyone picks before i pick a team because splff was right i change the team i want every day lol

TCU is still going to be in the MWC next year.

If you go to LA, you could have the game a week early. It's always spots in LA selling early like they do in Bowling Green.

Yah, Yung, correct me if I am wrong but they haven't detailed any of the online dynasty improvements yet have they?

yep i played in a OD where they put all the big teams in one conference but it wasnt much fun because you had a user game every week almost and it moved super slow.

It would be nice having those old Florida/Bama showdowns again. With the new improvements to zone defense in the new game and your ability with the 3-4 I think you will be giving people fits

I wonder did they fix the problem with the DB's basically running the route for the WR

It seems like coverage would be hard to program. I am not an expert at all, but just thinking about it, it would seem difficult to code how often or how well a DB should realistically predict and react to a WRs moves. It seems like a fine line between making passing too easy based on just timing or too hard due to psychic DBs.

They could fix this by having DBs break up pass plays more realistically. There are so many times in this game where I see a WR catch a ball over the middle that in real life would not have happened because the safety would have earholed the shit out of the motherfucker right as the ball touched his fingers.

As far as teams in ncaa 12, zehp and I are both kinda waiting to see where everybody else ends up. I wouldn't mind taking Notre Dame or Texas if either one is available. As a guy who hasn't signed a single five star in two straight seasons, it would be nice to have a shot at some next year

i did that vs urb and he fumbled but it looked odd looking like the cpu wanted him to fumble no matter what. But yea i get what you saying usaually the middle of the field is cover good and you going to get rocked for catching passes in that area. But one think i did notice in ncaa 11 was the defensers was defending empty spaces where nobody was at. And if you set zone coverage the MLB would be standing right behind the dline what kind of shit is that? If someone throw a 3 yard pass it could turn to 30 yards

I have a feeling people are going to cry on the forums when their 4 vert offense doesn't work every play anymore. I hope the devs don't nerf down the defense if it starts off effective.
