3 user games on deck:
Browns @ Ravens
The teams split the series with each side winning on the road last year.
The Browns have been the Jekyll & Hyde of the league this yr. Are they the team that got torched 109-26 against the Chiefs and Steelers? Or are they the team that destroyed the Dolphins and Chargers 97-20?
McCoy has been inconsistent in the passing game but Coach Breon will be bringing his downhill running attack.
The Ravens are flying high @ 4-1 and rookie QB Delonte Waters has been nothing short of sensational.
Baltimore is 1-1 in user games so far besting the Eagles 17-3 and losing to the Redskins 49-28.
This should be a hard fought divisional clash with the slight edge going to Baltimore riding the hot hand of Waters and the home field advantage.
Line: Ravens -3
Dolphins @ Raiiiiiders
The Raiders won last yr 37-27 @ the coliseum.
The Dolphins come in @ 3-2 but got destroyed in their only user game 32-7 at the hands of coach Breon's Browns.
The jury is still out on the Dolphin's offseason makeover as Jonathan Stewart has been a force, but QB Joe Flacco has been pedestrian at best.
Not much pressure is on Miami here as they will almost certainly ride the cupcake AFC East schedule to a playoff berth.
The Raiders however come in like a wounded cornered starving honey badger at 1-4. They will be fighting for their lives in this battle of old rivals.
Peter Newcomer has regressed a bit from last year's stellar debut and coach splff will need him to return to form if they have any chance of righting the ship.
McFadden also has failed to set the world on fire despite his all-pro talent.
Oakland has more to play for and they won last years matchup. That plus the fact the dolphins are flying west to the black hole gives Oakland the slight edge.
Line: Raiiiiiiders -3
Green Bay @ Washington
Tough clash between two 2-2 teams at an early crossroad in their seasons. The winner here keeps pace for the playoffs while the loser will be playing catchup for weeks to come.
Both teams are coming off the bye week and did not meet on the field last year.
Green Bay's offense hasn't yet produced up to last years standard yet, but coach Shiz knows how to put crooked numbers up with the best of them.
Green Bay will also be bringing the ghost of Tyvon Branch.
Washington's rookie QB Brandon Toscano has shown flashes but needs to play with more consistency to be the long term solution for the 'Skins.
In the meantime the Redskin offense is buoyed by 2nd year tailback Cobie Ross who is putting up monster numbers.
The Redskins have won both of their user games and while the pack haven't faced a user yet, the are coming off a 52-21 thrashing at the hands of Peyton Manning and the Colts.
Kid's user streak plus the home field makes them a favorite.
Line: Redskins -6
Buzzsaw watch:
Den @ ATL - Denver has knocked out the raiders
Pit @ Phl - Pit has taken out the browns and skins and played the ravens to within 2 pts.
Car @ No - Saints won both match ups last yr
Browns @ Ravens
