Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
"Incredible." That's the only thing Joker could say after an astonishing by Oklahoma against Oklahoma State. The Sooners, down 38-14 in the third quarter, scored the next 27 points to win 41-38.
They call this game Bedlam, and it certainly was. Oklahoma took a 7-3 1st Quarter lead on a 37 yard rush by Brennan Clay out of the wild cat. Oklahoma State came storming back, however, scoring the next 2 touchdowns to take a 17-7 lead. This is where things got insane. Sooners CB Ryan Caro took the next kickoff 100 yards to cut the Cowboys lead to 3 with 1:48 remaining in the half. On the following kickoff, Lamar Harris forced a fumble and Patrick Monroe recovered it. Looking to take a 21-17 lead, Landry Jones was picked off near the goal line by Andrae May who returned it 92 yards to increase OSU`s lead to 10. Less than 20 seconds later, trying to get into field goal range before half, Jones threw his 2nd pick, which Leron Furr returned 26 yards to the house giving Oklahoma State a 31-14 halftime lead.
Oklahoma State got the ball to start the second half and were stopped, but on a 4th and 1 from the 50 yard line, Dexter Pratt took the direct snap in the punt formation and ran 50 yards to the Sooners 1 yard line. He would punch it in on the next play increasing the Cowboy's lead to 38-14. At this point, Clint Chelf was 16-16 passing the ball, and Joker had just thrown his controller across the room due to the fact Pratt broke 5 different tackle attempts by Sooners' defenders.
Instead of letting his anger get to him, Joker huddled his team on the sideline and asked them how badly they really wanted a chance for the National Championship. Down 24 points, Oklahoma went to work. Landry Jones threw 3 touchdown passes in a span of 4 minutes and the Sooners' D held strong. Oklahoma State's lead going into the 4th Quarter was down to 3.
Patrick O'Hara would tie the score with a 46 yard field goal in the pouring rain. After the Sooners' D held, Landry Jones executed a beautiful drive that ended with a 31 yard kick by O'Hara, giving Oklahoma a 3 point lead with 40 seconds remaining. The Cowboys' would get to the 50 yard line, but elected to attempt a hail mary rather than a quick pass and field goal. The pass was knocked down in the end zone and the Sooners escaped Bedlam with a miraculous 41-38 win.
Oklahoma's defense, which has struggled throughout most of the year (albeit coming up huge against Florida and Texas), gave up 422 yards but did hold OSU to 1 third down conversion in 9 attempts. Landry Jones was phenomenal, and bounced back from 2 difficult picks as he completed 31 passes for 482 yards and 3 scores. Brennan Clay caught 11 passes while adding 85 rushing yards and 2 total touchdowns. Clint Chelf finished the day an impressive 26-32 after a 16-16 start.

Yeah, it was raised 10. If we all find that to be too much, we'll go back down 5.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Hmm, I must have really bad luck or something. My most important offensive player seems to like to get hurt for the season for some reason. Last season it was Pick in Workers, this year Theo Riddick, my star HB and impact player, gets a fractured Patella and goes down for the season. So much for having a chance in hell against Bama and Cal.

And with this...You can't have just decided you would give them to him based on him probably not stealing many recruits from you? Come on splff, in the spirit of fairness, you need to provide your "tips" to everyone, regardless of need, strength of team, or proximity to you; that's the only way it will be fair.
WTF? Fairness? It's a competition. Everyone is trying to win. To be fair, since you stomped me the last time we played, let me win this time. It's only fair that I get to win after you just won. I don't see you up here giving tutorials on running the option. Whatever man lol. That was some crazy shit you just posted. I said I would help those in need, not everybody. Yeah, I messed up and gave them to Urbs, but it's all good. They're for everybody now anyway because of that. WTF man? You came out of left field with that.

You can start by knocking off Hicks at the end of the year.

You suck. lol. Damn, why did I rush to get mine in before work? I could have scored 80 on Auburn otherwise, lol.

Stop,
I see you're making your way up that list of best recruiting class. That'll be two in a row for you if you pass me for the top spot.

no way I can pass u with all of your #1s but my class ain't too shabby. I got the two guys I was really after and a whole bunch gravy to go on top. I did manage to steal that D tackle that you had your eyes on. Guess you won't be able to pair the best two tackles in the nation, just the #1 and the #4 lol!

Yeah, I noticed you got him out from under me. That's cool. If he wants to play for the national runner-up, I'll let him.

Les Miles or Larry Coker as the worst coaches in history to win a title? I think Les might be worse if for no other reason than he won a title with 2 losses and is easily the luckiest coach in history... what a joke.

Yeah, but wasnt that a crazy ass ending to a game? I was like WTF? for real.. But yeah, Les Miles is ok compared to Larry Coker. But you gotta admire the "Mad Hatter" on how he has kept LSU relavent after Saban left from there.

What're you guys thinking about it so far? I'm liking the shit out of it. So much so that I signed up for HBO to keep watching it. Well that and Eastbound and Down. Kenny Fucking Powers is the shit. I think I'm about to try and get into True Blood too since I have HBO now. I've been hearing about that show for awhile now. I gotta catch up to this season though. That's when it's good to know somebody that works at Blockbuster.
I went into Boardwalk Empire not knowing a whole lot about what was about to go down. It seemed like it could be a litle boring and the first 30 minutes was just that. But Steve Buschemi is the shit so I watched it all. Then they put a few straight story lines and plots together and overall I was pretty impressed. True Blood's acting is horrible but story is great, if u can get past the ridiculous southern accents. Hyuk...
