After a home opening loss to the conference rival UCLA Bruins, in horse shit fashion, the Buffalo s confidence was reeling headed into South Carolina to play the Cocks. Coach Chugg didn t know what to expect from his squad of new faces on the road in a hostile enviroment.
But, what he got was a solid effort on both sides of the ball, and the Buffs were able to gut out a win. However, it didnt come easy.
With the game tied at the end of regulation, both teams each scored touchdowns on their first two possesions of OT. Cocks started the 3rd OT with the ball and moved it inside the 10 yard line fairly easily with a fresh set of downs. By third down they were inside the 5 and ran a draw gettin down to the 3. So fourth down....What do u do? Coach Yung chose to roll the dice and his QB overthrew an open receiver in the endzone for a turnover on downs. A critcally huge turning point in the final outcome of the ball game. After three straight run plays and picking up a first down, Coach Chugg sent his kicking unit out there to win the game with a 30 yard FG. Final score: 37-34
It was an epic dog fight. One for the ages. Very fun game to be a part of imo. You have balls Yung. I respect that.

KID WINS KID WINS!!!!!!!! I feel like Little Mac punching Soda Popinski in the Jawbone!! The Cincinnati Bearcats come into Davis Wade Stadium hoping to even their record at 1 -1 , but a determined Bulldog defense had other plans.

Cincinnati scored first behind the legs of George Winn on a 60 yard rush. He added a 66 yard TD later for a total of 182 yards. Although the other 56 yards came on 14 carries as the Mississippi St defense played strong with the exception of 3 lapses for long tds.

Despite MSU's efforts to establish the run, the bearcats pretty much shut down that side of the ball which gave room for Tyler Russell to come through with some timely plays and a very solid game for the bulldogs. Russell finished 12 of 20 for 228 yards with 3 tds and only 1 pick. Clinging to a shaky 11 point lead for most of the first half Miss St's D came up huge stopping 3 Bearcat drives on downs. After a long TD pass to ALex Chisum and the subsequent 2 point conversion cut the bulldog lead to 3, Tyler Russell led the Bulldogs on a time killing drive that ended on the opposing goal line. This is a huge win for coach Icarus as he gets his first Worker conference win of 2012.

I voted against going on to season two.

However, once we were here, there was really no point in not continuing on until this happened as we did not know exactly what would happen.

This really sucks and I hate to say it, but I think now we should scrap Workers and restart it once the patch comes out.

Yeah, either restart the whole thing or redo week 2 and wait for the patch
