I want to stay at USF so you can skip me on this if I'm not around or have someone sign on for me to renew my contract if that's needed.

Anyone know if I finished the season ranked? I should, I beat the No. 4 team in the country to end the season at 9-4 so I would think I'm in the top 25 at least.

It is A+ prestige. The game is fucked cuz coaches' prestige increases WAY too easy. By year 5 there are like 50 A+ prestige coaches.

By the way, Zeph is on the clock. Dink took the HC job at Pitt.

And as far as skipping the CC in Rivals, I'm strongly against it. We need to sign extensions. If we don't sign them then our coach loyalty never increases. You could just place us back in that position as coach but then our coach prestige may revert back to a D+ as well as having crappy loyalty. We're good about getting everyone on at once and it'll take 15 minutes then. So let's just do it.

As far as placing stop back with ASU, the whole point of this was to perform and go to a better school. If you get fired that's part of the game as well. He's a good coach and will bounce back; it should just be at another school.

Well we shouldn't be advancing yet so obviously wether or not we should be doing something isn't a factor.....

So, since we thought the whole point of CC was to get new offers, when Zehp signed on we decided to explore other offers, when we loaded up CC, the first offer, it was SDSU again, so we declined thinking that other offers would pop up like in offline. Instead, it just hired someone else and moved on to Chugg, so hes on the clock now. Uh, we really need to all sign on and get this figured out, and if worse comes to worse Zehp should at the least get SDSU back because nobody knew what was going to happen, I hope that when his turn comes back up a better offer will be there but since we are all doing this for the first time, I guess that shit just is gonna be rough first time around....

So right now Chugg is on the clock and ZEhp still doesnt ahve a team. I dont get it. In offline when you decline one others will pop up. I guess SDSU was the best offer for him this year? Well, again, he should get that team back he didn't know how this worked...

This feature is kinda frustrating.

And Hawk is right, EA dropped the ball with Coach Progression, going A+ in one season from D- is insane, we should have started out as One Star schools lol.

I also dont get why Zehp is only a C after his season at SDSU and Urban and Yung are B+. Progression seems a little bjorked.

Im really kinda disappointed right now, I just hope we figure it out to where ZEhp can at least get SDSU Back

Yeah....so this was kind a big clusterfuck.

When I went into CC two schools were there...SDSU and Washington. Well, I figured that meant I was gonna get offered, right? I ain't done this before, what the fuck was I supposed to think? Why was the Washington HC job on my screen if I wasn't getting that offer? So, I decline the SDSU offer thinking the UW one is coming and immiedately it hires someone else and takes me off the clock.

Uh, this is headache, yung, I would just like to be put back with SDSU when this is over. We can boot me and reinvite me if we ahve to.

Jesus Christ it fucking tells you all of your offers at once.

He'll have new offers once everyone else goes through and there are teams left without coaches but that was his only offer obviously.

Why would he flat out decline an offer without seeing anything else anyways? That's just seriously stupid. You pay so much attention to detail Jared and then you botch a big one that's pretty obvious.

He would've been signing a new contract since his current one expired. It wasn't an extension like you probably declined and saw other offers in offline. He had one job offer from SDSU and declined it. Now he would have to wait until everyone is done and then he'll probably have offers from teams that are left still looking for coaches that weren't initially interested in him. It may work out or it may not but it was stupid to "test" when it was pretty obvious, the risk was high, and it was pretty clear what would happen if you were wrong in your "assumption".

In this situation I have no issue with adding Zeph back to SDSU, but it's really stupid we have to do it. Pay attention to your shit guys and think about shit before you do it. If all you see on your screen is an offer to continue coaching at your current school and your contract has already expired, common sense would dictate that's probably your only job offer since it's a NEW offer. You would expect all completely NEW offers to appear at once.

Finishing with C prestige where was he really going to get better offers to go to anyways? It was just stupid to take a chance and give up your spot at your school on the hope that something better will come up. That's like quitting your real life job and hoping a better one will come along and find you. You work until you receive the offer, you don't quit in hopes of receiving a better job somewhere else with no indication you will.

Everyone makes mistakes, so it's cool. I'm just not used to you making them Jared. You are generally much more cautious and take a better safe than sorry approach. But this time you lead zeph into a mess that more than likely we'll fix, but it'll fuck some shit up.

EA isn't always the greatest at explaining shit, but this one was pretty self-explanatory...

Hawk, I definitely fucked up, but, in my offline dynasty I would go through a number of offers, when one job would disappear another would pop up.

Never done this in the OD before but, I guess that makes sense, but we didn't know that is how it worked. I woke up, saw it was Zehps turn, got really excited, called him in, had dreams of USC and shit offering, and when we got there and saw what we saw we weren't sure what to do, guess I probably should have signed on here and asked...

It shows Washington on all of our screens. They are just unexpectedly without a coach. That doesn't mean you're getting offered it. Declining one position doesn't mean you're accepting another. It would make since that when you accept one position, it automatically declines all the others, therefore that should be your common sense approach.

Jared has been looking at that shit too so he should've seen Washington there and thrown up a red flag. Seriously, this is fucked up shit. It was obvious what was going on if you spent some time and looked at the shit rather than just going off all half-cocked without knowing shit about what you're doing.
