Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
wow UGA gets blew out in Happy Valley. Couldnt move the ball at all. Every passing lane was filled and every 50/50 ball i threw got picked. I tried to throw some timing passes but his db's pretty much made the cut before my WR did so it seemed no matter what route i ran it was expertly covered. Tried to get something going but every drive i went over 20 yards it seemed i threw a pick. But the better team won gg jared. Good Luck in the NC lol Well guess thats it for the bulldogs

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Well, as I sit here, having just played my last regular season game in Rivals 2011, I have a couple things to say first.
First of all, I love this little "community." While I anticipate joining a few OS dynasties this year, Rivals will always by my number one priority. Was lucky to find such a dedicated group. Thanks again guys.
Second of all, Yunj, I respect you a lot for sticking with Georiga when you could have taken Bama a couple times and even Dame if you really wanted. That takes balls man you play sim and legit and mix it up a lot, I respect that too. You are a great addition to this dynasty and next year should be a lot of fun, especially with you taking over a team from start and being in control the whole time. Its hard to win when you cant run the ball and its hard to run the ball when your players suck, I think you are gonna be a scary player in NCAA 12.
Anyway. My short term memory ain't what it used to be. I think we both punted our first posession and then I nabbed a big run with my senior RB keller, the speed back out of the combo. I kicked a couple FGs I believe and then got a big INT to help me score again before half to make it 20-0. I think that lead was just too hard to come back from, on the road, in the toughest place to play in the nation, with an inferior squad of talent. Yunj put together some drives, don't doubt that, but the INTs just went my way today, jump balls went my way, and I was able to secure the victory.
This was a good year for PSU. Better than last year IMO. I head into the BCS title game with the number one ranked Rivals defense in points allowed, sacks, and INTs, and my TO differential was second in the nation but might be ahead of zehp now I dunno. Neither one of us turn it over a lot so it should be interesting...
Needless to say, there is still a chance zehp gets jumped in the polls. Urban and Ho have a high profile, high ranked game with each other, the winner of that game with its strength of schedule plus a tougher opponent than zehp has in his conference championship game could fault FSU or UF into #2. We have seen the game do whacky shit. You never know.

By the way. I will check with him first, but I know zehp only does ODs for the user games and he loves playing as many as he can, so he might be down to play a user in his conference game just to make it more interesting at the end....

Oh and I forgot to mention, there were a couple times where Yunjs DB could have made the pick but didn't. Just one of those games....

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
I tried to go slow but it didnt matter if i was going fast or slow i couldnt do shit. His safety i think picked off every last pass that was threw at him. And my pocket crumbled like a peice of bread lol. My defensive could get a stop at all and his RB's ran over, through, and around my defense. If you saw what i saw you would agree that it was no way i was going to win that lol. But his team played way above thier ratings. Goodluck to whoever play jared because my team got blew off the map lolurbanslegend05 wrote:Slow and steady yung

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Sykes is an AA from last year who tried to go but I got him back. I think he had 4 picks in user games this year....I like that hes not that fast but still makes an impact.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Jared im serious your db's was cheating the routes hard. EA lied hard when they said you can run a timed based offense lol. Not when the defense is making cuts before the WR even get into his cut. Guess i will sit back and watch the outcome of these games now lol

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
This shit is why EA needs to put in a PLAYOFF system, or if not that, a way to let the commish pick bowl matchups each year and we could vote on stuff as a group.

I think it might have something to do with homefield advantage shit. CPU boosts hidden ratings or shit like that, I ahve noticed it both ways before.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Whoever I play in the BCS game should be fun. I am 1-0 against Zehp (pretty close game) 1-1 against Urban (both games close) and 1-1 against Ho (he killed me first time, I killed him second time, we traded blowouts essentially)

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Yes jared i think its the homefield advantage because i had the same stuff happening to me when i played dink. His team was playing like they was NFL all-stars lol. But yea i dont think i had a decent RB since i got this team. Really i dont think i had a legit impact player really. My go-to guys was always rated in the mid 70's.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
You took over a bad team. The problem is the CPU just cant handle a roster. I got lucky with PSU they had had 2 straight good classes while I was at USC. So many rosters out there in the dynasty, if you check, are way fucked up.
When you started you had a couple upperclassmen, like that QB, but once they were gone its hard to be good, especially on heisman recruiting with a 3 star team in the SEC..

BREAKING NEWS
I just talked to Zehp. He is up at Fresno at that football coaching camp but I talked to him about whats going down and he has something to say.
Conversation:
Me: Would you feel OK playing a user in your CONF game to make it more interesting? You don't have to, you beat 4 already and earned a title shot.
Zehp: "Come with it blood! I'm in!"
Me: Would you want to volunteer it?
Zehp: "Yes."
Its official.

I asked him twice more if he was sure and he said yes both times. I bet Yunj wouldnt mind getting another shot at him after he was close this year....
