We'll still have the rule but you'll have some more leeway. If you are somehow up 55-3 in the 4th, take your foot off, burn clock, and run the ball. Basically, use your common sense. If the game is without a doubt beyond reach, run and burn; however I doubt many people actually are in such a situation in the ppayoffs; the teams are in the playoffs because they know how to win and play well.

My main issue with shooter is he keeps breaking rules, and then claims he doesn't see what he did wrong. He has yet to admit any wrongdoing for this latest incident. You gain a lot more respect from me being honest and forthright than trying to BS me. He claims he didn't supersim or hurry up more than the allowed amount. As far as I'm concerned, until he can provide me with a reasonable, logical explanation as to how he was able to run so many offensive plays without doing either of those, he is straight up lying to me and has no regard for this league or our rules.

I like shooter; he is a good, committed user, which are very hard to find (hence the reason we have yet to be completely full). However, I can't let him, or anybody else just waltz all over our rules. We have rules for a reason, and they need to be followed. I generally give guys a lot of leeway and warnings before I hit them hard with a penalty if it's at all possible and I think it's an honest mistake. Shooter has had those warnings and has continued to break rules time and time again. Something had to be done.

And as far as this being a dictatorship, if that's what you want to think go right ahead. I have opened every major decision concerning this league up for a league vote and went with the majority's decision. Shooter is being allowed back in the league because of a league vote. If anyone, especially Urban, has any suggestions as to how I can "rule" in a more democratic nature, please share your idea. I am always looking for ways to try and improve myself and the league in any way possible. I want this league to be as fun as possible and for everyone to have a voice and for it to truly feel like Grinders is THEIR league. The reason we have one commissioner is simply to make things more efficient; I do not view this as MY league, Grinders is OUR league and I simply am it's steward. Again, if anyone has any ideas how I can incorporate the league's voice as a whole more than I already am, please let me know.
