Jared u said something golden in an earlier post. What if we lower the recruiting difficulty? Maybe then other schools could nab some more 5 stars and the CPU wouldn't cheat so bad with teams like bama.

I really think that makes sense. User vs user is still the same.level but ser vs.cpu should be less.stacked

I know that right now you're not a recruiting power but that's because of a bunch of down years before you took the reins. If you got their pitches back up to A's and A+'s across the board, you would be just like UF and UT. The main schools in the 3 big recruiting states get huge advantages. I would be reluctant to reduce the recruiting difficulty because then anyone we compete for against the CPU we will probably win. Given that we now have recruiting limits that isn't as much of a problem but it will still reduce the level of competition CPU teams can field.
The main problem isn't the CPU teams' recruiting ability. Yeah teams like Bama are just total bullshit but that's an outlier. If we want to change then that's fine, but then none of us will probably ever lose to CPU teams again.

Yeah, let's wait and see what happens first before we make rules for 12 lol. Hawk, it's not so easy to find replacements this late in the game. As you prolly can tell, i'm having a hard time finding replacements for Blaze and Osama. If you and stop quit as well that could prolly doom the OD, I say we run a few more seasons then close up shop for 12. I'm definitely trading this in towards to 12 so I'm not playing all the way until 12 releases, but a few more seasons and we can chill out. That way, we can get that "urge" again. I don't know. I'm just talking out my ass, but I think there is some validity to what I'm saying. I say we go to late may/early june then close up shop.

If we drop down to a hard cap of 70 and also limit 5* signings the CPU should still get their talent. More probably.

Naw, i don't think we should reduce recruiting difficulty. It's not the cpu recruiting thats the problem. It's the recruits choices of schools.

In general anywhere from 3-5 pitches are changed after a given year, If you have some A+'s though, that reduces the likelihood of having 4 or 5 things go up though because it's random which pitches go up and an A+ can be selected to go up, but it can't actually go up at all so you're SOL. I had my academic prestige go down last year. That just doesn't make any sense. I don't see Notre Dame ever losing prestige as far as academics go. It just really sucks the way they handle recruiting in general; actual recruits, recruiting pitches, prestige, etc. It just isn't realistic. Hell, as I said earlier, given EA's own prestige system's rules, Texas in 2012 should be 5*s, but they won't be because they are Texas and they actually should still be 6*s. How fluid they make some things and how static some other things are is just ridiculous.
