dont sweat him spliff, trashcan has no stick skill, if the AI doesnt make plays for him, he fails. If Oregon had a fullback (I have a RT in at FB right now) I woulda obliterated him using those MLBs in man coverage all day, regardless of the AI.

Re: Workers 2011 Discussion Thread
Kansas edges out rival Missouri 27-21 to stay undefeated.
In a matchup with a very good Missouri team and All-American caliber quarterback Blaine Gabbert, the Jayhawks' defense faced a tough task.
The Tigers opened up the scoring with a touchdown off of a screen pass, which they utilized all game. The aggressive Kansas defense was hurt by Missouri screens all day, and only with the Tigers abandoning the short passing game in the second half were the Jayhawks able to come up with some defensive stops.
Kansas quarterback D.J. Beshears followed up his amazing performance from last week with a mediocre one at best in this game. While he did manage to come up with 171 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 11 attempts on the ground, Beshears was an abysmal 7 for 20 with 136 yards and an interception throwing the ball.
The Jayhawks were able to win the game on the ground, with over 350 yards and 3 touchdowns rushing, compared to just 87 yards rushing for the Tigers.
Kansas had a plethora of recruits at this rival game so coach Jhawk hopes they were impressed and hopes to get a few hard commits over the weekend.
Kansas (4-0) looks to keep their perfect season and national title defense hopes alive as they will travel to Manhattan next week to take on their other rival, the Kansas State Wildcats (3-0). Missouri will return home to face another tough task as they host the undefeated and second-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers.

That's how it is sometimes lol. I had damn near my whole board in to seem me destroy Florida. The result? 2 hard commits to me, and about 7 or 8 soft commits to other schools lol. This despite all A's and A+'s for the visits. Oh and 1 guy did move me up to 2nd place. Now I'm only 600 points behind first place lol.

Feel free to take whoever, but if you could take either a PAC-10 or Big 10 team that would be awesome as there is only one user in each conference currently.getonmylevelho wrote:cool..not sure as to what team i want yet, but shouldnt take long to decide

After the beating I took last week, my team shows it is worth some shit and pulls off the upset over #11 Oklahoma St. 41-13. In a game that turned into pick a play and change to the complete opposite (pick a pass, audible to run and vice versa (which is what comes with Heisman stupid psychic AI)) Ryan Swope went for 150 yds and a score and Uzoma Nwachukwu went for 131 yds and 3 scores. Defense stepped up against the Air Raid attack after the 1st quarter.

Oh, and we had 6 recruits at the game, including the #7 WR that soft committed to DDA which could very well change and he might become an Aggie now.

Re: Workers 2011 Discussion Thread
My bad yall. I forgot to do the write up on the SC game. Here it is:
WTF?
Coach Breon walks off of field in the 4th Qtr.
There must be something about coach splff3000 that just really pisses other coaches off. He has had more coaches quit during games against him than all of the other user teams combined. South Carolina's coach Breon was added to that list today. We'll get to that later though.
The game started out pretty slow with the only 1st qtr score being a FG scored by Auburn. In the 2nd qtr, South Carolina was the first to get into the endzone on a 19yd interception return. Auburn then scored the next 2 TD's to take a 17-7 lead. South Carolina worked their way down the field in the last seconds of the half to get a last second FG which made the score 17-10 at halftime. That FG was important because it allowed South Carolina to tie the game up with the first possession in the 2nd half. They got a 72 yd TD pass from Garcia to Moore from their now infamous 5 WR set.
The score was tied but South Carolina clearly had the momentum. Auburn struggled to move the ball but eventually had a long drive and score right before the 4th qtr to take a 24-17 lead. South Carolina got the ball at the beginning at the 4th qtr and scored again real quick to tie the score again. Auburn then worked down the field and scored with 4:13 left on the clock to take a 31-24 lead. Both teams had been going back and forth with their scores and South Carolina looked poised to tie the game up again, but instead, Garcia threw an int. and Auburn returned the ball to about midfield. At this point, Auburn began to play ball control offense. Now this is where the crazy part happens.
With over 1:30 left in the game, Auburn was facing a 3rd and 4. If Auburn got the first down, they could use more clock and force South Carolina to use their 3 timeouts. Auburn called a pass play that left their HB wide open in the flats and threw the pass to get the first down. Immediately following the first down play, coach splff3000 got a message that coach Breon had left the field. Coach splff said he was shocked when saw the message because he thought the game was far from won. Auburn still needed to get another first down to ice the game. The interim coach, coach cpu, played tough D and used timeouts to conserve time. Auburn had to convert on a 3rd and 6 again to get another first down and ice the game.
Stat wise, sophomore Clint Mosely had a very fine game filling in for the injured Cam Newton. He was 21-22 for 258 yds, 2 TD's and 1 int. That's a pretty good stat line for a young sophomore playing his first game in the hostile South Carolina environment. He looked poised like he had been doing it for years. Auburn pounded the ball with 163 yds rushing on 39 carries. The Auburn defense stepped up as well forcing South Carolina to throw the ball by holding them to just 29 yds rushing. Garcia had a decent game for SC though being 8-12 with 1 TD and 1 int. The 1 int was a big int. Next week Auburn is on a bye and they'll be getting ready for their showdown with Arkansas in week 7. That could be as good as this or even better with Arkansas coming off of an upset win over Alabama. Clint Mosely looked poised in Columbia. Let's see how he does in Fayetteville.
