Workers 2011 Recruiting Limits

Every season I will start a new thread to keep track of limits:

If you have less than 70 on your team plz tell me here.

Limits are seniors leaving +3 (or to 73 total)

I have a lot of soft commits. My question is what if I can only sign 5 guys but one week 6 sign?

Last year one time I was gone for the off season recruiting so I put it on auto and they signed too many. I know they don't want you too but I think it's more of a guideline so you are not just signing and cutting guys to keep other users from getting them.

I think that question came up in Rivals last year at some point.

I don't know how strict Yung wants to get with it all.

Personally, I don't target or offer to more than my limit just to avoid a possible "violation."

I know you're not trying to screw anybody, sometimes it happens. We gotta see what yung feels about it

I just cut 4 guys from my board who I was first on with at least a 500 point lead cuz I think I'm going to pull in somebody better for that scholarship spot.

You need to be picky about who you offer too. If you have more guys soft committed or that you're likely to get than you have scholarships, then you need to drop some. Nobody is going to come up and steal any of those guys from you so you need to choose which ones are the most important for you.

Alright cool Dip I don't think it'll be an issue cause even if they all signed now I wouldnt be over but I figured I'd ask for future referance

Yea basically when off-season recruiting is over i want everybody to be at or below the limit. So as Hawk summed it up if you got softs but could get a better person take the scholly away and get the better guy that way that guy wont commit and you can get a better guy. But i know its going to get to the point we signing 20+ guys wont be auto so its not a big deal but if people start going over then i will address it because you got 3 more schollys then the max roster limit so there shouldnt really be a excuse for over signing. Matter of fact thats a real life issue with teams oversigning players that they know they can't keep.

I havent gotten all the info yet for the new limits but that doesnt mean you can over-recruit, if you go over your limit I WILL find it so watch your shit.

You will? You have me down as having 17 available. I only have 14 and that's after I lost a transfer.

Lol, I'm watchin my limit man so I didn't go over but if you didn't check who has seniors redshirted, then other people might not be so honest.

I wasn't about to go around and beg everyone to tell me which seniors the redshirted, a lot of people dont do that anyway. If anybody else wants to volunteer for recruiting limit duty go for it, I am just trying to help out

All I know is I will never go over my limit, so if people wanna cheat they can, but fuck em

I hear ya. I did all of that last year. It's a lot of fuckin work.

idk stops since he at a diff school and the new guy aint joined yet either but i im going to keep a eye on stuff but if somebody is done recruiting for the season let me know here so i can update them and it will make it easier to know who done and who is not because unless someone pull off a hell of a recruiting trail i dont see nobody gets much more guys

I am now @ 73. U can skip me for the rest of offseason recruiting.
