Re: Grinders Discussion Thread
I actually like the way the penalties are setup right now. It's very possible that someone can make a mistake, especially a new user, so I don't think they should lose a game right away. I say amend the penalty tho and say it's up to the commissioners discretion which players and how many have to be sat during the next game. That way the commish isn't bound by the rule as to which players have to be sat. So if someone likes to throw to their slot receiver, even tho he's not the highest rated player on offense, the commish can tell that person to sit him.
I know I came up with the penalties that we're using now, but I think there should be one more level of penalties. I think it should go like this:
1st offense: Sit 2 players of the commissioners choosing
2nd offense: Sit UP TO 5 players of the commissioners choosing for multiple games.
3rd offense: Auto for next user game
4th offense: Golden Boot
When I came up with the rules, the purpose of sitting players wasn't so users would lose games, but so the players non-stat games would offset the stats they received for stat padding. If the user loses the game because they are out then that's just part of the consequences of stat padding.
I think penalties should be applied only in egregious cases like with shooter and Drew. It would be wise to take a pic of your scoring summary in cases where you blow your opponent out just in case he, or anyone else in the league, comes back and says you ran up the score/ stat padded. That will definitely help your case if you didn't do any of these things. If there is any doubt tho, we shouldn't be penalizing people. We kinda got into a kinda witch hunt culture around here when it comes to this and I'd like for us to get away from that. Just my .02 cents

Re: Grinders Discussion Thread
Looks like the resign will be fixed sometime tomorrow, I suggest anyone who currently has the glitch take a picture of their resign tab to show which players are currently unavailable. I'm sure Hawk we keep these guys off limits but will need proof that they declined prior to the glitch getting fixed and not rejecting after the fix.
So anyone who posted in the glitch thread for your team, go ahead a show any guys who rejected when you tried to delegate the resign.

Re: Grinders Discussion Thread
Also, maybe those that rejected can be dropped and resigned week 17? This will allow users to offer them before FA bidding and there won't be a need to keep certain players off limits.

Re: Grinders Discussion Thread
I confirmed this morning, the glitch is fixed. I'm pretty sure everyone that already tried to have the cpu delegate for them can just release the player then sigh him to a 1 yr deal. They should have an option to resign him like normal during the offseason then. I suggest you guys get the word out to everybody that the glitch is fixed and we can start talking about how we wanna handle this .... or hawk can just tell everybody how he wants to do it. Either way, they all need to know about it.

I also forgot to mention that everyone with the glitch would need to show which players are actually unavailable via pic as TJ did above. So in essence, you need 2 pics. The first pic in the Glitch thread showing that you have the glitch and the 2nd pic showing which players have already rejected a cpu resign attempt. I would like to say that if you never got a pic in showing that you had the glitch, you would be SOL in the whole ordeal, but that's not Hawk's style. Then again, he has been venturing more and more into the dark side( my side) lately lol.

Re: Grinders Discussion Thread
So, I kinda messed up here.. Prior to advance - I messed around and tried to delegate J. Graham.. well he's unavailable now.. which is fine according to above - however, I didnt read the above messages prior to now messing around with my other FA's and now I have no way to prove that Graham was done before the glitch..
Whatever, its my fault for not reading this thread prior - I'll have another shot at re-signing him.
One more question thou:
In my contract screen it says Drew Brees is signed for two more years, however he's popping up as someone to re-sign.. any idea what the problem is?
