Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Yeah I think it'd be fucking lame as fuck for Wisconsin to play for the title, win or lose my last two games. No way blaze would have lost to them, maybe psu, but not them. Their schedule blows dick.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
The jhawk rule:
If a user takes over midseason, he will be put on auto for a user game unless he has more than one user game scheduled or already has a loss on his record. This is to make sure that everyone has to go through a couple of users to make it to the championship.
should be the same if a user leaves midseason. somehow u gotta at least play 2 user games to go to the nc. if not u get put on auto for a user game.

Gators bust home-winning streak against FSU, 49-39
The nation's second longest home winning streak has come to an end as the Florida Gators stayed alive in the title picture with a 49-39 win at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida.
After three field goals combined for the Gators and Seminoles in the first quarter, Florida State led 6-3, but soon the fireworks would begin to be set in motion.
The Seminoles struck first with a methodical drive early in the second quarter in which Matt Abrams scored from nine-yards away.
Florida matched with a drive of their own and cut the lead back to three when Dan Lucky hit Bobby Hill on a 26-yard seam route to get the Gators' offense in gear. Lucky continued what would be an outstanding performance through the air to the tune of 515 yards on 21-of-28 passing for five touchdowns on the next drive with the first of three receiving scores for Derrick Spence. The senior hauled in his first touchdown pass from 38-yards away to give Florida it's first lead, 17-13.
Abrams put Florida State back on top with just over a minute remaining in the first half, but three scores would take place in a wild final 1:08. Florida scored on the first play of its next drive with an 80-yard screen pass to Javon Cutler, but that left the Seminoles with enough time to add a field goal and cut Florida's lead to 24-23 at the half.
The Seminoles received the ball to begin the second half and began to take controle of the game, first reassuming the lead with their fourth field goal of the afternoon. After a three-and-out by Florida, the Seminoles connected on a 41-yard strike to Robert Hobbs to open up a nine-point lead.
Florida scored with 1:54 remaining in the third quarter when Cutler ran in from four yards away and elected to go for two to cut the lead to one and have a chance at tying it even if the Seminoles scored a touchdown.
Florida State would do just that as Mark Fenner bulldozed in from one yard, but a fake field goal to go back up by nine failed. It was the beginning of the end for Florida State.
The Gators tied the game on the next drive with Spence's second touchdown reception. This time, he scored from 17-yards to tie the game. (replay available)
After a punt to the Florida 10-yard line, the Gators struck again on their first play. This time, it was a play-action pass to Spence that went for 91 yards. (replay available, although it doesn't show how open he was originally)
Nate Forte picked off a Bailey pass on the Seminoles next possession, setting Florida up for a field goal and the ability to kill the clock. With 1:27 remaining, Florida State took back over possession down 10 points, but Willie Harris' interception sealed the deal.
"Probably one of the most outstanding displays of what this game is all about," coach Urban Legend said afterwards. "This game had just about everything you wanted to see as a fan, unless of course you're a Florida State fan, because then you'd probably still wanna see a win. But as an overally spectator of the game, you couldn't find more entertainment value. It was simply outstanding. Hats go off to them, and we just owe a big thank you to our quarterback, Dan Lucky, for the fine performance he put on. The kid threw for 515 yards and completed passes to 11 different receivers. Best game he's played as a Gator. I guess he needs to throw an interception on the first play of every game."
Good game HO. Definitely the best coach out the for the talent provided on your team. I'm not looking forward to what Rankin and the rest of the last couple of recruiting classes pan out to be.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Hey ya'll. So I picked up a substitute teaching job this morning so any chance Yung and I had to play in the afternoon is gone. Sorry for if everyone is waiting on us.
I would say a safe estimate would be 7 pacific (10est). It might be a little earlier but we like to hit up happy hour after practice.
But yeah, it was a good game Hawk. I think if I had just made a couple more plays on offense here and there it would have looked closer on the scoreboard but looking back on the game it's hard for me to see myself winning that one on that night.

Yeah, it seems like in this dynasty we have always been pretty spread out. usually it pans out ok but in this case it seems like a bad matchup schedule wise, you work mornings he works afternoons. Now we know in the future at least.

Ahhh I gotcha. I rolled with a temp agency for a while until the school I coach at was able to get me a campus job. The economy sucks man.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
I think so. To me, it doesn't seem right to only have Wisconsin beat Rauloe (who hasn't made a bowl in two years) and make the championship. Plus, that would only give Hawk 4 user games (that is, if he plays you with USC) for a title, while the rest of us with conference championship games are subject to 6 user games. I hope everyone's fine with the teams that they're at right now, because this whole changing of teams things really bumfucked up things this year.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Going back I wouldn't have switched. But thats life, lesson learned.
Ok, so I can go ahead and play the game as long as that is for sure what we want, just don't want to piss anybody off.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
The only person I've seen voice a problem with it has been Clark (who I really don't care what he thinks anyway, since he wants my family to die in a traggic car accident, hehe) so I think that's the best way to go forth. Stop, myself or splff deserve a shot at the title (especially splff, if he wins, or stop, if he's ranked ahead of me and I win, since they haven't been there before).

Alright, are you able to switch it, or do I have to do it? If so, give me about 15. I have chicken on the stove right now.

If you lose, at least Wisconsin earned the shot.
