Well Penn State and Oregon State will probably definitely lose at least one game. Iowa is the biggest threat to go undefeated I think.urbanslegend05 wrote:Yeah, I was really wishing Rauloe could stop that Penn State attack. Looks like unless a couple of us go undefeated we might be headed for a cpu team in the national championship.

Penn St. beat beats Iowa their not losing. The winner of that game is going undefeated, and probably has a good chance of jumping someone.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
I will take care of oregon state.
Clark has a big role in this as he plays hawk and Urb end of season
I think if any combo of a duo of myself, urban, and hawk win out that's the title game.
Id bet money it ends up bein urban/hawk in title game, me vs. Iowa/psu in rose

Penn State still has to play Oregon State too. And yeah they shouldn't lose any of their other conference games, but you never know.jusblaze09 wrote:Penn St. beat beats Iowa their not losing. The winner of that game is going undefeated, and probably has a good chance of jumping someone.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Tanner Bolen would have just set the single game rushing record currently held by Ladanian Tomlinson at 406 yards if he didn't bruise his shoulder. As it stands, his 401 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns easily set a Florida school record. The crazy thing is he did his damage mostly in the first half. Pitch left, touchdown run; pitch right, touchdown run; option left, touchdown run; option right, touchdown run. The guy was unstoppable or Kentucky is just God awful. Kenneth Ware didn't do quite as good with 33 carries for 164 yards, but that's still a pretty good day at the ball park. I just really wish I could have had that rushing record.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
I'm glad the Heisman doesn't mean shit in here so I don't have to get all upset about the insanely unrealistic stats some guys are putting up. 8 TDs in the first half? (With 71 rushing attempts in the game? Super sim and hurry up much?)
384 yards and 3 TDs on 12 catches in one game? (And in an earlier game I think there were 6 total completions all of them to that guy)
I just couldn't ever bring myself to vote for one of those players. The only way to come up with numbers like that is to deliberately and consistently abuse and exploit the known issues in the defensive AI (like playcalling and using "money plays"). I know your main thing is the user game stats; but I like to look at the total body of work, with an emphasis on user games. And deliberately exploiting problems with the game like that automatically disqualifies you in my book.
Just my two cents...

If the computer calls one on one with my playmaker, anyone would exploit that. You're telling me you wouldn't throw to your 6'6" 99 speed receiver? You must be drunk

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Auburn wins it's Rivalry game against UGA 49-39. UGA jumped off to a 10-0 lead in the first qtr. At the half they held a 17-14 lead. On our first possession in the 3rd we scored to take the lead. The lead would then swap back and forth a few times before we went off for 28 pts in the 4th. UGA had 2 scores of their own in the 4th but they couldn't keep up.
David Fox had another good game passing for 369yds. He got sacked 6 times though and that hurt our rushing totals. Jerod Harris had 95 yds rushing on 24 carries with 6TD's to go with that. He was a beast inside the 5 yd line. UGA was a tough opponent and really tested us. Now it's off to a bye week to get ready for the Iron Bowl in week 12 against coach Clark and the Crimson Tide.
BTW, I'm about to advance.
EDIT: Seems I jumped ahead of myself. We still got Ole Miss before we see the bye week.

I like.what jhawk said at the top here. I think supersimmin is flawed and I never do it for two reasons. It inflates user touches and time of posession because the cpu doesn't run clock properly in supersim. Also it dilutes legitamacy of defensive stats because you're not really earning them.
Its not my place to tell anyone how to play. As long as the end of year stats are in the realm of realism I don't care, but I do get the eeling sometimes that there is like an unspoken competition as to who can go more.batshit crazy on offense. I've been the type to turn on conservative tempo when up big but again its your game play it your way. Just weighing in

I always play the entire game. Never super sim the defense. So all my stats are earned. Thats just me. Urban must do something different to have rushing tds. Bolens a douchebag anyway

Hey fellas just in case I forget to set ready to advance, for the rest of the year, if my game is done, I'm done. I'm not gonna be spending all my recruiting time anymore during the regular season. I always recruit before I play so if my game is done, I'm done.

How are we looking at an advance? I know we have two teams with byes this week. Two or three users have already played, I am sure that more are going to play throughout the day today. Maybe an advance tonight sometime?
