To add to that..the Seminoles blew it last week on a national scale losing in primetime fashion on Thursday night...so i'm just going to the State/UNC game just to get out of going to a wedding..which will probably turn into a gangster ass trip.

Well, I was gonna ask you about that later, but that's bomb. I'm ready for this trip and hope I run into some cowgirls. JJ said we should ask jared if he wants to come as well.

Well, I'll play may game tonight. But I doubt we make the 24-hour turnover. I say we place bids on the number of users left 24 hours after advance. Where should the line be set? I'm thinking 3.5? I'd take the under, probably 2 people left.

Too bad we never got a chance to play Hicks. Hopefully, I'll see you around next season and we can play.

Very strange game...The Irish beat the Trojans 84-38. I couldn't stop the run worth a shit. Reminiscent of last year against MSU and BC. Their RB had 278 yards on 24 carries. The game gave him 10 broken tackles but it was a lot closer to 20-25. Thank god my backup RB (starter left after first play) had a good game, otherwise it probably would've came down to the wire. Splff, if you haven't played them yet, watch the fuck out for Tyson.

Also, whoever advanced could you please post that you advanced next time. I had to use context clues to figure that shit out. Anyway, looks like the glitch didn't cost me all of my recruits. It looks like I will lose the 2 that I wanted the most, but at least I got a few.

Ho was gonna post a recap, but he felt so bad about forcing Hicks into early retirement.

I'm gonna hold Hicks spot for him for about a week to see if he changes his mind. I think he may have just been really upset about the loss.

Hmm...both of these boards have just been dead all weekend along with not many games getting played. Is everybody really busy or is it just pretty much that these dynasties have about run their course?

By the way, Urban I think you're leaving to go watch the Fin's game right? If so, you think you can play your game before you leave in case Rauloe and Ny_ER get their game in before you get back.

I have my son for the afternoon by myself. Wife had plans and didn't tell me until she was walking out the door. I can't play w/ him around unless he's asleep.

Rauloe, can you play around 4-6? Won't know until 10-15 mins prior, but wanted to see if that was possible? Otherwise, I can play later once she gets back home.

FYI...I'm 99% sure we're not going to be able to get this game in. I haven't heard from Rauloe today, and my kid is about to get up and now I have to take off once he does. I might be able to play late tonight...maybe like 10 or 11...after Boardwalk Empire.

BTW...Rauloe has been in touch w/ me the last few days...just not today. Hopefully we can get it in later. Rauloe, if you're avail...just text me after 9 or so.

I actually meant to revise that 99% comment. I'm home now and we exchanged texts earlier although it does look like we have time.

Rauloe, I'm good to start before 11pm...the earlier the better though. I'll just watch the Empire on DVR tom.

#6 Penn State takes down #3 Ohio State at home

In a pretty ugly game, Penn State grinds out the 31-13 victory. Penn State's usual aerial attack was pretty non-existent all day as the nation's #1 QB, #1 WR, and #4 WR by yards were all pretty much held in check. But the story of the day was RB Silas Redd, who had his second 200 yard game of the season...also rushing for 3 TDs on 36 carries. There weren't too many highlights for Redd, but he consistently got the 3-5 yards he needed to keep the chains moving. w/ OSU's defense keying on the pass, Penn State went to Plan B, which was "ground and pound".

The Penn State defense outside of 2 long pass plays pretty much kept the OSU attack in check. Goss threw for less than 200 yards and 3 INTs. None of OSU's RBs could get going.

Penn State got off to a 7-0 start on its first drive, but the rest of the 1st Quarter was uneventful. OSU tied the game at 7-7 w/ a 50 yard strike from Goss to Louis, who ended up w/ over 100 yards and 2 long scores. Penn State regained the lead w/ another long drive. OSU drove the field and came close to scoring a TD w/ less than 10 seconds to play in the half. On 3rd down and 5 seconds left, OSU came out to kick a FG. After a Penn State TO, OSU decided to try to get the TD, but came up short. They then missed a FG to end the half. That was really the turning point.

The 3rd Quarter belonged to Redd and Penn State as they scored 14 unanswered points to take a commanding 28 lead and commenced to pounding the ball on the ground. A FG made the lead 31-7 in the 4th. OSU scored a late TD on a long pass and then missed the 2pt conversion.

Next up is Michigan...the winner of that game will be in the drivers seat and control their own destiny in the Big 10 race.
