I enjoy reading you guys banter back and forth. I was 0-2 in user games today but only lost both games in the seconds. I did successfully kick FGs (4,50,53)in a User vs CPU victory for a up and coming ASU squad that is now 3-8. That game meant nothing to the standings in the LOL league i have been describing to you all on XBL.

I do hope I can provide Maryland competition tomorrow. I am available anytime tomorrow but GF wants the game scheduled so we can "window" shop.

Week 2 was a great hopefully this is just the start of something great.

So is there any news on a patch? Are they ever gonna fix defense on this turd? What I don't understand is every now and then my D plays crazy good. Flying around, locking down receivers and then randomly they forget everything and just watch receivers run wide open all game long. My DL will play a game where they just blow shit up and then the next game they never break a block and bite on the same read option 100 times. Is it momentum? Is it home field advantage effects? When I played Dink he scored 7 points. When I played South he scored 60? Now I know Dink didn't play his best game in our game but I promise it had a lot to do with my db's playing out of their heads. What's causing the drastic changes in how defenses react from game to game?

Turn user defense up across the board. Max it out. So we'll beat the computer down, a lot do that anyways. At least it'll make user games better maybe? We shifted to user games being the priority so why not make those play better?

Do sliders affect user games? I've always read that they don't?

Not sure dip. I haven't really read about it.

I think the user sliders are for offense and defense... I say increase the user defense and maybe increase the CPU offense 25% more then what it is... We really shouldn't be going undefeated every year against the CPU..

I think we should move user defense up alot and cpu defense up alot

I beat killwill in the dumbest game since I played virus. Virus and will are both great players and I don't wanna take away from that in any way...the problem in both of my user games is everyone's defense sucks like super bad. I didn't stop will or virus at all....I was just praying they'd misread and throw a pick. I played every defense in my playbook and it was still pretty much swiss cheese. My hat is off to both will and virus. I lost to virus and without a couple picks late I wouldve lost to will as well. I really hope they patch defense soon

As much of an issue that this becoming now, and I would agree that some games are ridiculous. I would point out that my last two user games of last season weren't completely over powered by offense.

In my game vs Virus, both teams went nearly scoreless in the second half until the last two minutes.

And have you seen when two high powered offenses play eachother in college football? The defenses sometimes look pathetic and points are scored in bunches.

Just wanted to bring up the flip side to the current situation. Seems like this issue was brushed aside until the Pac got smacked up. lol. kidding. but really tho.

As far as the USER vs CPU conversation... I think the CPU should be able to beat users. I think the CPU defense should be harder. gulp....I certainly think that we shouldn't be swiss cheese but undefeated for three tams that are users shouldn't happen with 5 user games but a loss to OHIO ST, OREGON, FSU, MIAMI would/should be happening. I am on the other fence I guess.
