I have to admit that game was a lot more fun without using plays I'm comfortable with and Zone read... My running game got shut down for the most part but it was good enough to for USC to keep more LBers in the box so I got good play action going... All in all seems more of a challenge offensively then before... And my D killed it... Did some research and most of my guys are better in zone so I ran that a bit more and had some stops....

Looking fwd to playing a user and seeing how it goes

New Mexico straight sucks! They threw like 20 screen passes. It felt like they were broken. Just horrible. I think that's the first time I've ever shut out the CPU on this years game.

Just finished with my game against TTech. Looks like he might be getting better at passing because he found some success with in the second half after falling behind early. He also started changing tempo against me and got me off balanced. Luckily though I was able to hang on. 27-24, final.

I should add that we had a lost connection in the first quarter and had to restart. The score was only 3-0 at the time.

Another bye week. We are getting anxious to take the field. Ready to take that trip to Corvallis.

I think the ACC may rough up the pac 12 these first couple weeks. Looks like Syracuse started things off, and I'll take Maryland in a close one over ucla. Hopefully I finish it off with my pair of pac12 games in the next weeks.

Honestly that's the biggest downside to an OD. My favorite part of playing these games growing up was watching my Dad and brothers playing their games and knowing that I'd have to go up against them.

The Duke Blue Devils hosted the Kansas Jayhawks in both teams first game of the year. Duke was looking to continue on their great finish from last year while Kansas was looking to get things changed from last year. The crowd was the most electric they have ever been for a Duke football game and the players came through. There was only one TD in the first quarter and it came behind the legs of Jr running back Jela Duncan. The Duke defense shut down the run all night however the secondary got torched for over 300 yards. The devil offense was clicking all night as a group they ran for 250 yards and threw for over 300 the jayhawk defense had no answer what so ever. QB Anthony Boone was the difference maker running for 3 Tds. Kansas could not contain both of the studs in the back field. Overall Kansas kept it close but Duke was able to pull away in the 4th quarter. Duke travels to their rival maryland next week in a game that has shoot out written all over it. These are the type of games Duke needs to win in order to put them selves at the top.
