Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Florida State takes care of business and improves to 3-1 on the season after drowning the Hurricanes in Tallahassee. Miami received the ball first and took control early on with first down after first down on a 6 minute drive that ended on State's 8 yard line. Cornerback Justin Gandy laid the helmet on a Cane receiver forcing a fumble(replay). Coach getonmylevelho was crunk as hell, but perhaps a little too crunk. On the first play from the Seminole offense, Charles Ward Jr. tried to force a sideline pass after the hot route was eaten up and threw a pick 6(replay). Miami 7-0.
It was all Seminole for the majority of the game thereafter. Ward Jr. accumulated two rushing touchdowns and threw 11-16, 176 yards, and 2 interceptions.
Trai Perry had 21 carries for 141 yards and had 2 touchdowns. One in which Perry broke several ankles after spinning around a Miami defender(had to put the replay up of that).
Miami charged again late but only 4 minutes remained in the game and the Seminoles leaned heavily on the rushing game using as much clock as possible.
Coach getonmylevelho had this to say, "In state rivalry games are always the ones that dwell on your mind the entire offseason. Having lost twice to this team last season, both by a 2 point conversion, there was no debate as to what was the most important game on our schedule this season. We watched so much film in preparation of this Miami team and felt the two heartbreaks of last season's games over and over so I know that our team was ready to get at these guys. We were convinced to not let this game come down to the wire and the players stuck to the game plan perfectly."
Good game Hova..the fumble bug hit ya early..and the Seminole defense was also laying the wood..they were hitting guys so hard. I'm sure you will have something to say about all this in the ACC championship.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
So my computer pretty much has been sitting in my closet for almost a year. I finally got it fixed up yesterday. After an hour or two of cleaning shit up and getting everything updated and up to speed, I am pretty much in heaven as I finally have access again to my large library of music and movies.
One of the first thing I did was get back on the torrents and download about 9 movies I missed out on this year (I don't go to the theater often, too expensive). First up was Tron: Legacy. I think Spliff mentioned something about it like a week ago. I went into it thinking it would suck but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Not the best acting or even that great of a story (kinda doesn't make sense in some aspects), but damn the effects and action scenes are pretty awesome. I definitely was very entertained.
Next, I watched The Fighter. All my friends, who are sports minded guys, highly recommended it and I remember it received much critical acclaim. Needless to say, I was not let down. I think it's fucking awesome. If you guys haven't seen it, give it a shot.
I am about to knock out Iron Man 2, another big one I never saw, and then probably Black Swan or Scott Pilgrim. Probably Scott Pilgrim, as I read the books and was a fan few years back.
Good stuff.
Oh, and Zehp says he's counting the hours until the RRR.

My recommendation.....get high, drunk, or something before you watch Scott Pilgrim. I loooove the movie, but I've never read the books and I've never seen it sober. Still, everytime I've watched it, I've enjoyed the fuck out of it.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Wow!! This prolly should be in the Madden thread, but fuck it. If any of you follow Madden news closely you know who Ian Cummings is. For those of you that don't know, he is the Creative Lead for the Madden games. Well, he is no longer working at EA. This is courtesy of Pastapadre's(some mfer that always got some inside scoop with the going ons at EA) twitter account. A few days ago he announced that som of the dev team from Tiburon was leaving to form their own studio, but wouldn't say who. This was his tweet today:
What does this mean for the future of Madden? I have no idea lol.
Well I gave it two days out of courtesy, but now I'll state that Ian Cummings is the biggest name leaving Tiburon/Madden.
What does this mean for the future of Madden? I have no idea lol.

Yeah I actually didn't end up leaving until today so I was able to get my recruiting in last night.Jaredlib wrote:Has Hawk been able to recruit? We are closer to an advance than I thought
And Boo Yah! I got Ryan Broussard bitches. Now if I can just pull off Aaron Ortiz too, I'll be pretty dangerous in the upcoming seasons. Not to mention if I get Blake Palmer as well; that would just be icing on the cake.
