    Honolula, HI

OSU wins on a last second FG by Freshman K Barrett Daniels 25-22. OSUs Defense managed to hold Hawaii to 264 passing yards, defending the 4 and 5 wide sets the entire game. The key play was a pick by Senior Trey Holt as it killed Hawaii's momentum on a game tying drive. Said of the infamous Coach Rauloe, "They got a lot of fast guys in the skill positions, we got our hands on a few balls and a few deflections, but i was not please with all the dropped Ints. We need thos plays in order to be a good defense and help out our offense this season."

OSU will face the gators of Florida in the Horsehoe next week and then head to Norman to battle the Sooners. "Gotta say this non-conference schedule is something aint it? LEGGGOOO !!"

Florida State cruises by a tough Cal Bears squad. This game was a lot closer than the score suggests. The score was locked at 7 a piece until David Hooper hit Sean Bentley on a 34 yard touchdown pass to give the Seminoles a 14-7 lead with 22 seconds left in the half.

Florida State kicked a field goal in the 3rd quarter after a long drive was eventually shutdown by osama. The Bears fumbled the ball on the next kickoff return and was picked up by Ronald Waters and ran in for a quick Florida State touchdown. Up 17-7, Cal seemed to lose a little composure and eventually lost the game 44-14.

The Seminole defense played great forcing 1 fumble and intercepting an option and two passes. They also held their opponent to -6 rushing yards. 2 of the massive stops came on 4th down early in the game where two field goals might have put osama only down 1 point (14-13) but opted to go for it.

The passing D needs a little help as last season's mistakes have not been completely conquered yet.

Good game Osama. You played very well until the game got out of reach. That Cal team is a lot funner to play with than Oregon of last year and you should surprise some folks this year if you stick to the gameplan.

    Bolen over teams
Defending back-to-back national champions Florida made the trip into one of the nation's most hostile environments and proved again why its the best team in the country, 31-7, over Ohio State.
The Gators came out with the victory, but loss quarterback Jeff Driskel for 11 weeks with a broken collarbone.
"You hate to see it, because it could very well be his last game as a college play," Florida coach Urban Legend said. "He was playing out of his mind this season too, but we had to turn to our horse."
The horse delivered as Bolen ran to the tune of 172 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries.
Florida jumped out to a 7-0 lead off a Driskel led drive, but his third-consecutive completion to start the game turned into disaster when Ohio State roughed up the starter. Bolen was able to cap the drive off from a yard out.
John Williams added Ohio State's only touchdown with a two-yard run to tie things in the second quarter, but Bolen would give Florida a 14-0 halftime lead off a drive produced by his legs.
The third quarter saw Florida begin to take control as newly appointed starter Eugene Wilson (replacing Driskel) found Craig Gardner for 43 yards and a score.
Ohio State drove the ball within Florida territory, but Justin Robinson threw his fourth interception of the day (two to Valdez showers) and Jimmy Stovall's second pick of the day. The interception led to Bolen's final touchdown. This time, it came from 36 yards away. Marcus Burnette added a 27 yard field goal to round out the scoring.
"Ohio State played a good game," Legend said. "The score was closer than it appears. The only thing that really hurt them were the turnovers. I'm glad we don't have to play them again next year."
Florida moves on to play rival Tennessee before back to back dates with Auburn and Alabama.

The game was competitive until the end. When you threw the pick down 21-14 near your end zone, it was kinda the beginning of the end. Turnovers is the single biggest stat in any football game and they definitely did you in there. Still, it was a close game until the fourth quarter. And though I didn't lose that game, I can almost guarantee that you caused me a loss down the road with the loss of Driskel.

This is a lil late cause I went to sleep right after the game but............

........Auburn handles Rutgers 38-17. Rutgers started the season ranked 23rd in the country when they came to Auburn to visit the Tigers. The game started off competetive with both teams scoring early making a 7-7 game. Auburn then opened the game up with a 67yd TD pass. Rutgers would manage only 10pts after that after Auburn moved the ball seemingly at will through the air. The ground was a different story though as Auburn struggled to gain yards on the ground all game. Some Auburn game stats:

    Corey Diggs - 17-25, 411yds, 5TDs
    Jerod Harris - 26car, 60 yds
    George Bolden - 3rec, 145yds 1 TD
    Jerod Harris - 2rec, 92 yds 2 TD

Looking forward to our matchup against USC this week. I know we're not there yet as a team, but this will be a good barometer to tell how far we have to go.
