Sorry guys. The servers being down delayed me too much and I won't be able to get my game in until I get off in the morning. If everyone is done, I'll advance it when I'm done. I finished my recruiting already so it shouldn't take me too long to advance if its need to be done.

Michigan takes care of business under the lights beating Rutgers 45-29. Ryan Nelson shows why I gave him the #1 jersey by going for 163 yds and 2 TDs. Adam Murphy (who was knocked out of the game his first carry last week) ran for 121 yds. All-American Mike Munoz had 3 sacks, and Charles Walton has 2 INTs, one for a TD.

Well we should figure something out tonight because after I play my game tomorrow morning I'm gonna go to sleep so if you can't do 2pm I won't see it until I get up. If you can't do 2, we should figure out a time tonight because I won't be available to discuss this tomorrow unless you're gonna be up around 6AM EST lol. I'm available pretty much anytime before 3. I just have to get up. I chose 2pm because that is the most convenient time for me because I have to get up at that time to let my son in the house anyway. Just let me know.

Alabama keeps the Winning Streak Alive

The Crimson Tide continue to roll after beating Miami 34-21 to improve to 2-0 on the season. The game started with the Crimson Tide electing to receive the ball to try and rattle Miami early. This was not the case, with Alabama punting the ball twice and Miami once before any scoring took place.

Miami was moving down the field and had a chance to take an early lead. Until a fumble recovered by Darrick Bradshaw was taken to the house for six to give the Tide a 7-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Hurricanes started to move the ball again, but another costly fumble lead to no points. Miami finally got on the board with a 3rd and goal from the 1 td rush by Mickey Williams. "I really thought we had stopped them for a second", Coach Clark said to me following the game.

On the next possession, the Crimson Tide put together a key drive that chewed up most of the time remaining in the second quarter. With 55 seconds left, the Tide led by 7 and kicked the ball deep. The very next play the Hurricanes are intercepted by Dusty McGrew to give the Tide great field position and a chance to score again before half. The Hurricane defense stepped up forcing the Tide to only a field goal to take a 10 point lead into half.

The Hurricanes received the ball and wasted no time scoring just over a minute and a half into the quarter with another one yard rush by running back Mickey Williams. "They just wouldn't let up", Clark said of the Hurricanes. A long methodical drive was led by Peyton Manning to put the Tide up 10 going into the fourth quarter.

Miami led another drive with a four yard touchdown rush to cut the lead to 3. The Crimson Tide then stood up and said, "No more of this shit, this is our game!" The Tide went on to score 10 points in the final 3 minutes to put the game away.

This game made me really nervous and hopefully the recruits enjoyed watching it.

    Some stats from the game.

    P. Manning 6/9 85 yards, 3 rushes 22 yards 1 rushing td
    B. Schmidt 26 carries 176 yards 2 tds
    D. Freeney 6 tackles, 1 sack

    J. Rogers 17/27 283 yards 1 int
    H. Daugherty 7 carries 41 yards, (injured for 4 weeks).
    J. Fuller 3 catches 95 yards

Good game ho, you are good with that Miami squad

It was a fun game man. I thought I might be able to pull it out but everyone knows how solid you are on the sticks and on top of that you got some real playmakers. I think you got a title run in you this year good lucks give em hell. I figure if you kill everyone else it makes me look better lol

Perhaps I can try and liven the boards up tonight. Overall, taking all 7 seasons into consideration. Who is the top 5 users? I will give you my list

    1. Joker, created something special in Oklahoma. Won a NC with a decent team, struggles with recruiting and still makes it work.

    2. Urban, has done well in Florida, won a few NC's and continues to be a power house year in and year out.

    3. Jhawk, moved ND back on top of the NCAA. Won his first NC last year, has recruited well and put together a very good program up in South Bend.

    4. Blaze, has done the impossible with two teams. Michigan will become a threat once again in the near future.

    5. Stop, has had great teams down in Texas, just not able to get the main thing done. Best recruiter in the dynasty, perhaps this is the year he wins the big one

hate to be a dick but there are rules about the write ups. esp cuz we don't have scouting reports its important to do them for the user games. Hopefully the commish will speak on it.
