Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Oregon wins easily on senior day 42-21 against UCLA. Seastrunk did his job, rushing for 124 yds and a score. Bryan Bennett played amazing, going 17-29 for 319 yds and 5 TDs. The defense is going to need some work though, as the depth is not there (we have a OLB playing in the nickle spot). Overall this is going to be a fun ride.

Looks like quite a few people are on playing now. Maybe this means we'll get an advance in tonight.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Just played a tuff game at the Big House and escaped with a narrow 10-3 victory. Goss has been playing shaky these last 3 games, bu i stook wit him as long as i could till i finally decided to hand it off to Berry for the rest of the drive. OSU came up with 2 huge 4th Down stops while the Wolverines were in driving range to go up on the Buckeyes, but the Defense held good and come through to help pull out a tuff win against Michigan to avenge last year's heartbroken loss to Big Blue last year 24-20 in Columbus. This win bolts OSU to 10-1 on the season with 1 game left against Top Ranked Oklahoma. With one game left in the season for Ohio State, the Buckeyes hope to make a strong case for a BCS bowl bid. But that will ultimately be tested by an OU team that looks to put an end to the Bucks chances as well as increase their chances at an BIG 12 Title as well and a shot at the NC game...

And the Irish rebound from a tough loss and a rough start to beat the Cardinal 45-17.

Re: Rivals 2011 Dynasty
Sorry I didn't post the update last night guys. It's getting to where it takes forever to update on the EA page after advancing. Don't know why, but I was tired and could barely hold my eyes open.
Anyways, big week of games. Shakedown Saturday we could call it. It's hard to say what the Game of the Week is, because they're all soooooo good. I guess you'd have to say it's either the Bama/ND game of the UF/FSU game since both of those involve teams without losses, but how can anyone rule out OK/OSU when both of those teams are still very much in the mix. OSU would need a lot of help, but it's feasible and OU is currently the top-ranked one-loss team.
As far as the other games, it should be another adventure when UF and FSU go at it. Last year, the two teams combined for over 100 points and went into three overtimes. Florida State's team is a little down, but coach Ho has already proven that he can beat elite teams with less talent than in years past as noticed by knocking off Miami (and sending Hicks into retirement) and Notre Dame. Florida continues to do its usual one-loss season, so they'll need a win to stay alive and defend their national title.
Two of the most storied programs in the history of college football square off when Notre Dame travels to Alabama. Clark's boys come in ranked No. 1 in the nation and he wants it to stay that way. Notre Dame comes off a rebound against Stanford after falling to third-ranked Florida State, but a win here could catapult him right back into the conversation for national-championship contenders.
Let the games begin....

Also, the sooner we can get through the next two weeks the better. I'll be out of commission Fri-Mon and so will ho. We're heading to Tally for the UF/FSU game on Saturday and the basketball game on Sunday. We'll be back Monday.
So, if we can get to the bowl games by Fri/Sat that might work out well for everyone.
