    Gators keep rolling
Florida used more than 300 yards of Trey Burton created offense on its way to a 2-0 start in a 45-31 win against Penn State.
Burton was just average throwing the ball at 9-of-16 for 188 yards, one touchdown and two picks, but his legs are what makes him so dangerous. On the ground Burton amassed 125 yards on 14 carries with two touchdowns.
His counterpart on the ground didn't fair too bad either. Mack Brown ran for 126 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Both players had highlight runs. Brown scored from 75 yards and Burton scored on a 68 yard run.
Through the air, Andre Debose had a big day as the rest of the receiving core was non-existent. Debose caught three passes for 113 yards.
The difference in the contest was a shutout in the fourth quarter by the Gators' defense. It's the fourth consecutive game that the Florida defense has held its opponent scoreless in the fourth dating back to last season's SEC Championship game.

He definitely is. Even if I know it's coming, he still finds a way to pull it off.

    Heisman Trophy Nominees

Sorry for the delay. It was a very busy week, but I still want to get this out there despite the new season being started. I couldn't go back for the defensive players with the new season being started, so with that said. Drevannti Johnson is getting the award, because he was leading the nation in sack by like 20. I am pretty sure he would have came away with it either way. His stats were nasty.

As for the human Heisman, this is the cut down list including all user games and season stats. As always, big props to Joker for helping out on 90% of this. Good luck to all nominees.

Well, ho is off today and we've been in Miami and returned home to go to a funeral of a high school buddy of ours that put a bullet in his head, so I think we'll excuse him.

Jesus Christ. The nature of that alone messes you up. I've been unlucky enough to have that happen to me before and its fucked up to say the least.

w/ that it reminds me to say that Urbs, no hard feelings regarding the game last night. As I'm sure happens to just about everyone, you're fucking pissed after a loss. After reviewing my post, I should've dedicated more than one sentence about your quality play as opposed to 2 random plays. My intention was to stress that you played well and the 2 plays didn't determine the outcome, but it probably got lost in all the kvetching.

I'd go for the 4th myself if I knew it was kosher. Some dynasties have specific rules, and I confuse them sometimes. Now that I know, its all good. That is my fault for not knowing.

And as for the fake FG, I was completely thrown off, because I definitely thought that was frowned upon. But if I can't stop a 19 yard fake FG in a Dime then that's on me.

If I could've fucking stopped your QB from running it down my throat, those 2 plays would've have mattered...not that they did any way. Part of why I was pissed was that I believe I only got to 4th down on your twice, and both times you converted.

Good game. Btw...my WR, Ken Smith, is a BEAST. 12 catches for 247 yards and 2 TDs...including a 80 yarder. He's fucking unreal. If I get a RB next year, my offense is going to be unstoppable. Unfortunately, I can't play defense worth a shit.

I agree Clark, the mood is rather tense.

I gotta give my vote to Lamar Miller of Miami. His user game stats were phenomenal and are what gave him the edge over Brennan Clay in my book.

Oh shit, yeah I guess I shoulda read the post lol.

I don't sense any tension. Maybe I missed something. I saw Urbs say they were going to a funeral and clark make a joke, an inappropriate joke, but I knew it was a joke.

Anyway, I know something that'll cheer yall up.
