    Florida State 38
    Virginia Tech 21

After a defensive zero point first quarter, Coach getonmylevelho pleaded with his players to show some more heart and get their shit together. They responded with a 28-7 second quarter.

Coming out the gates for the second half, Florida State was intent on building the lead. But...there was a fumble on the kickoff return that was picked up by a Nole player, who then fumbled it again after an errant pressing of the square button to dive forward. Tech capitalized on this and cut the lead to 28-14. Florida State answered by scoring another touchdown and a field goal putting the game out of reach.

The Hokies were plagued by turnovers in this one fumbling the ball 3 times and throwing 2 interceptions. FSU had only one fumble and 0 interceptions and won the total offense battle 361-142. Even with 5 turnovers, Kid kept fighting kept himself in a position to make a run until the 4th quarter came around. Good game Kid.

Hopefully I'll leave Jacksonville soon. I am at a buddies house bc I decided in a drunken stuper to ride with him to Jax last night since we were going to watch the phins game today. What I don't remember is him telling me he was going out for his mom's birthday at 6:30, so I'm still stuck here at another buddies house. I also don't have my cell or anything else with me, so I've been out of touch with reality today. Anyways, I should be home in the next hour or so, and I'll play as soon as I get there. The advance shouldn't be any later than 10.....hopefully.

That might be too late for me, but don't worry about it. It sounds like you don't have much of a choice.

If I can't play tonite, feel free to SIM my next game, but I'd appreciate it if you can hold things up for me until Wed night so I can play my next game.

I love having a bye this next week. So I think we should wait for Ny er because I don't want to play until Wednesday or Thursday. Should we just go to weekly advances from now on? It might be easier to schedule computer games that way

Phew....Tennessee made things very interesting as I only came away with a 34-20 win after scoring late in the game to finally put the Vols away. They pulled out all the stops, even scoring on a fake field goal. Needless to say, it was pretty intense. Now I'll advance.

Penn State beats Northwestern 56-42 on the road

Different week...same outcome. The defense still leaves quite a bit to desire, but in this case I SIMed just about every defensive down. So, at least I can blame this one of the players or CPU versus myself.

The offensive continues to improve as the running game seems to be coming around. Every key offensive player had a great game. QB Paul Jones outside of 3 INTS, 2 of which were of the bullshit leaping LB variety, had a good day. He threw for over 400 yards and 4 TDs. Both beastly WRs had over 160 yards receiving and 2 TDs. Shitty RB Silas Redd had his best day as a Nittany Lion rushing for more than 200 yards and 3 TDs, including 2 TDs of longer than 50 yards.

There were some surprises on the recruiting front...most of which were not pleasant, but w/ some highly rated recruits coming in next weekend Penn State hopes to close of some of their highly regarded targets.

The rankings are screwed. There is no way he should be ranked ahead of Bama comparing their current resumes. Hell, I'm still ranked 15th behind most of you with losses and I'm undefeated with two wins over ranked teams, one of them who is ranked ahead of me. I don't think Notre Dame would ever be this disrespected in real life, lol. It would be funny if they were, but it would never happen. It doesn't really matter since if I keep winning I should move up, but still.

At long last your Heisman winner was.......

Lamar Miller with more than 2,000 yards combined, it was an easy choice for Rivals this season. Here's how the voting broke down.

    Lamar Miller - 21 points
    Landry Jones - 7 points
    Trey Burton - 7 points
    Ken Smith - 6 points
    Brennan Clay - 5 points
    Trent Richardson - 2

Yeah, that week 15 Cal/Notre Dame game is going to be stellar. Probably going to be for a shot at the national championship. Kinda like a conference championship for you guys since you don't have one and splffs all alone out there.

Yeah I'm not gonna get too excited about the no. 1 ranking. I'm sure at some point this season, Alabama will leap frog me as long as they keep winning. That's cool though. As long as I'm in the big game I'm cool with everything. Yeah that week 15 matchup should be a pretty big one as long as I don't slip up against the cpu. I doubt that'll happen though now that my team is built up some. What's kinda cool is I play jhawk in week 14 in Workers as well so if the advances for both OD's stay kinda close, our game in week 15 could be a rematch game from Workers.

As for the Heisman, I think Lamar Miller definitely deserves it. I just played him last week and was simply amazed at how good he is. It's pretty hard to have a player that I simply can not stop no matter how hard I try, but I couldn't stop him at all. Let's hurry up and get done with this week. I'm on my 3rd bye in 5 weeks. I'm ready to play some games damnit!!!!

yay! Hell of a year for Miller, put up over 2000 total yards while Storm Johnson poached almost 1000 yards rushing from him. It was an effective timeshare as Miller didnt have to worry as much about injury, he didnt get a sniff of the in game heisman but thats ok this one matters more, thanks fellas

No need to thank us. You earned it. But I have to say I like the computer heisman a little better this year, since I won it.
