Whew, Texas A&M pulls off the upset over #14 Florida State 31-28. The key play of the game was a fake punt by Aggie that was not converted on 4th down with 2:43 left to give Florida St. the ball on the A&M 33 yd line. After EJ Manuel hit Dent for the TD, it gave the Aggies the ball with 2:03 left in the game. After a big return by Ben Malena, Steve Hall down the field, connecting with Brandal Jackson three times on the drive, the last one for the winning TD with 14 seconds left. After two prayer bombs by FSU, the game was final and A&M were your winners.

Good game CT, sucks the first one dropped connection

Ho played so we're good to advance. Although it says urban still needs to recruit. But Urbs mentioned earlier that he narrowly beat Bye, so maybe he just didnt use all his recruiting time.

Thanks for advancing Urbs. I had to get up early this morning so I turned in early last night. Also, the site is down for me a lot too when I advance. I guess it has something to do with my username. I don't know what it is, but it does get pretty annoying.

Seriously, I've just been sitting here thinking about it and I gotta go on a rant.

Why is it that there's so much bitching this year? I mean, it seems like every time there's a pitch as someone gets hit that someone's tampon falls out? After the last game I have to hear that I pitched it late 9 times. 9 times? Come the fuck on. Was that the difference in 42-17 ass whipping, the 9 pitches?

It's a fucking game people. Stop treating it like its the Super Bowl, take a loss and move on. I don't bitch when I lose and I promise you that everytime I do that there are plays where I'm like fuck.

It's starting to feel like the only thing you can do to win 'fairly' is to run a dive and throw slants. If you have any kind of creativity in your game, then your cheese or some shit. If you run an option and you hit the pitch button as a defender is coming up, then you just broke the cardinal rule.

It's fucking football. Your goal is to get a first down. You do what you have to do to get one. If a late pitch is a fumble and the other guy picks it up, I guarantee that they won't say shit about it.

I just find it funny the things people find time to bitch about. You know what my response is....get better. Do that and win, and I bet the bitching stops.

This doesn't go for everyone. There's plenty of us out there that I've never seen bitch. Splff, kid, joker, ho, ct, jhawk....just to name a few. There's probably more that don't bitch either that I'm not naming so if you're not on there I'm not pointing you out.

I play in these leagues to have fun. If you're not doing the same and a loss bothers you that bad, quit. I promise you all that we're better off without the bitching. If I want to hear bitching, I'd go back to dating the girlwife.

It's really gone too far. I'm almost ready to start a bitching rule in rivals. I don't know what I would do to enforce it, but I'm damn near putting one in. I think we're all grown in here. Let's start acting it.

U were up 3 when I was taking the game serious then I was tired of u just hitting ur late pitches all the time when the defensive AI is broke vs them and there is nothing u can do unless u r controlling someone that is near the RB. U hit 9 that were outrage and you had a few others that you went for but the qb didn't pitch em for u. I play games to have fun I take my loses but when you are just hitting late pitch after late pitch it's not fun.

U ain't neva seen me bitch I tip my cap to anybody that can beat me. It does suck when u kick somebody's ass and u have to come back on the board and see complaining. It's just a video game. Have fun, win some, lose some- that's what makes it interesting.

I've never complained about anyone besides urbans. I take my L's if I didn't I would have joined. But when someone is just cheesing it away like it's a ranked online game it needs to be said. It was 17-14 before the game got out of hand with all his late pitches left and right.

I definitely give it to you. We went head to head every season last year, and I never heard even a whimper out of you. In fact, I never hear a whimper out of most everyone. I'm just tired of hearing the late pitch shit. If it's a fumble, there wouldn't be any complaining and for someone to say that it happened 9 times is just outrageous. Then again, what do I expect for the biggest cryer, quiter and pussy to ever play in these dynasties with us.

Maybe we should institute a policy of no posting for 24 hours after you lose a game lol. A cool down period allows you to truly think about the game and if you feel it really was "illegal" upon further, rational, reflection.

I have 5 of the late pitches saved and was gonna post em but it seems like late pitching is allowed around here and is encouraged. So it's not even worth it just for future heads up if u do it i'll just start hitting run commit to combat your cheese moves, also if I have urban's on my schedule i'll just auto pilot myself and he can use his shady moves vs the cpu.. And it's not even if u were just hit when you pitched it that is fine, it was that you were already wrapped up and half way to the ground that is what I am bitching about. This is my last post on here if u need me get ahold of me through the psn.

I have a question because I don't run the option that much and haven't played anyone that runs the option a lot except for jhawk, but what actually constitutes a late pitch? I'm serious here because I don't really know what you guys are talking about.

I hate the late pitches too. But not because people do them, but because they are on the game. When someone uses them against you, you're right, the CPU cannot defend them very effectively and it can be an exploit.

That said I use them too. I'd say I generally have about a 75-80% success rate on late pitches. I still hate them though because when they screw you, they can really screw you. It's very easy to lose a game because of fumbling or having a late pitch intercepted. I would much rather not be able to do a late pitch and then it would eliminate the problem entirely. You would have to adapt to pitching right before you got hit.

Unfortunately, as the game system currently is, it is almost always best to wait until you get hit and then pitch it, otherwise your pitch man is gonna get tackled right away too. So the game essentially forces you into making late pitches. If you play against someone who runs an option offense, you better expect to see some late pitches, however regrettable that is.

over at TF anytime you hit a late pitch you have to run out on the spot where it's caught at, The reason it's works so well is cause every crashes the qb and no one is covering the rb and boom it's a big gain, the quarterback rarely ever fumbles it to the rb. I did it vs jusblaze once and I ran it out of bounds for a -2 yards cause it's a shady move. But I don't care anymore if someone does it from here on out I'll just combat it with some shady moves like it or not.

Sorta like when you went for it on fourth-and-5 from your own 27, in the second quarter, which is clearly against the rules? Then again, I'm not a bitch so I don't complain.
