He's talking about next season. He wants to switch teams...imagine that. You'll be good to play him in week 4 on Sunday hopefully.

Based on the way the CPU tore up my secondary, I'm sure you would've beat me. I was in full control and then out of nowhere Gilbert starting hitting 30-40 yard bombs.

Hope you didn't have recruits at this game 12, Oklahoma demolishes Michigan 52-5. It was 28-2 after 1 and 45-5 at halftime. Oklahoma didn't attempt a pass in the second half. Drew Allen rebounded from a dreadful start against Alabama to throw for 353 yards and 2 scores (all in the 1st half) while Jermie Calhoun (88 yards) and Brennan Clay (121 yards) both found the end zone twice on the ground. DeJuan Miller had 219 receiving yards and Ryan Broyles hauled in 82 yards on only 2 catches.

Ready to advance finally! Thanks for waiting.

Anyone with my login can advance it for me. You guys know who you are. If it's not advanced soon, if any of you have my cell, just send me a text and I'll give someone the login to advance it. I shouldn't be home til midnight or so tonight. Good ole high school volleyball (sarcasm).

    Post by urbanslegend05 Fri Aug 27, 2010 1:35 am

I'm about to pull a splff.

    ***Running off at the keyboard***
Alright, I'm going to have to start practicing (we talkin' bout practice? How the hell I suppose to make my teammates better by practice?) recruiting or something like that.
Here's the deal: I have six recruits in to see me blast Tennessee....six, ses, 6, that's six recruits I had in. Of these six recruits, 5 of them gave the visit an A+ (the best overall grade you can get). The lone wolf that chose not to give the visit an A+ was the No. 3 overall athlete in the nation, Trey Mitchell. He's the No. 3 athlete in the nation, of course Mitchell is going to be a little hard to please.
The point I'm trying to make is this, none of them committed. How's this possible? I beat the Volunteers like a red-headed stepchild living on Little House on the Prarie. 59-20...and what does this get me? It gets me less than the amount of pussy 12 pulls when he hits his local shake joint.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong or if these recruits just want to toy with my emotions.
    ***Second scattered thought***
Man, these forums sure do look nice. Yall boys need to give it up for Splff. He's put almost as much work into these boards as the guys who do the names...making it top notch for you guys. (Although, I want to know where my damn chatbox is, lol).
I know that I see that admin logged on a lot, and that means he's pretty much doing wild things like putting a background up or making some sick ass logo. That's damn cool man. Although it seems like FSU is on there twice as much as any other school...it's a conspiracy.
    ***Third thought***
Today was a good day, Rivals/Workers both advance on the same day. That's the coolest thing ever. I'm trying to decide which game to play first. <---this guys a nerd...
Anyways, as long as its been since we played a game sherminator's wife has probably had her baby by now.
    ***Jhawk alert***
I know Jhawk has been wanting that final spot, and Scrapps dropped all of his online dynasties, so I think it's going to be his invite to decline, unless someone comes forward and says I promised them a spot first, and I remember that shit....no crocadiledundees sneaking up in here in front of Jhawk.
Alright, I'm through with my incoherent ramblings.

That would be awesome if I could join. But if somebody else has dibs I understand. If I can join though I'm going to be gone for the weekend, so I wouldn't be able to accept the invite until sunday evening. I just don't want you guys to wait on me so go ahead and advance if you need to. Also could I be my Hawks? Or would I need to choose someone different. It seems like this is mostly 5 & 6 * teams which I'm fine with being a lowly 3* and building up against user powers if that's possible, but if not I can try to think of someone else I wouldn't mind being over the weekend. Just let me know.

Yeah, that's the kind of theme we use here in Rivals...it's the real prestigious schools of college football....lol. If you're set on the Jhawks that's fine, but you might lose a little interest playing with them in both dynasties.
I'm a huge Florida fan, but I have to mix it up too. Anyways, I'd prefer you to be a Pac-10 school to contend with Splff out there, but if you're set on the Jhawks, it is what it is. Splff needs some competition...cough, cough.

Alright, no problem. Hmm.. Is the scheduling for the PAC-10 teams fixed? Who is he playing as? Cal? I suppose I might be able to roll with the Sun Devils.. I think they're 5 stars. But I could be wrong.

You don't have to necessarily roll with a 5* team. Arizone State is cool. If you're home right now, I can send out the invite. If not, just accept it when you get home. What's your PSN?

Alright cool. My PSN is jhawk886. I'll decide real quick between them and Stanford. I'll try to play my game for this week, but I have to leave early in the morning. So if I don't get it in then go ahead and advance whenever ready, one more simulated week this season isn't gonna make a difference.

That invite was sent. Whenever you're ready to join, we'll be glad to have you as either Stanford or Arizona State. I kinda like the Stanford pick. That would leave us with the Cal/Stanford game, and that'd be pretty narly. It is "Rivals" after all.

Alright, ya'll. The time has come for all you pretenders to the throne to pay homage to the true kingpin of college football; The Stanford Cardinal. Andrew Luck has the Heisman already in the bag, and will allow all wannabes to gracefully bow out. Any player or team that stands in the way of The Cardinal will be shown no mercy. Consider yourself warned.

Thanks guys! Great to be a part of Rivals! Looking forward to another great dynasty!

Oklahoma hammers Notre Dame 59-23. The Sooners put up 371 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns, absolutely dominating Notre Dame physically. It began when Brandon Crow, Oklahoma's senior fullback, took a fake punt direct snap 71 yards for a touchdown, breaking numerous tackles along the way. Jermie Calhoun gained 209 yards on 22 carries while Brennan Clay added 79 on 18.

I wanted to post the video but it only showed him running 50 yards untouched. Stupid EA. He broke about 7 tackles as he rumbled into the endzone. It was insane, I've never seen anything like it, let alone a fullback on a fake punt direct snap.

Hey breon, if you're reading this man, we have an open spot in Workers and it's yours if you want it. Just let me know what team you want. Remember in Workers, they have to be 5* or less and A- or less.
